@tonypatenaude97 -- evidently not, as he's four now and hasn't accomplished said task. Thank you everybody for your concern as to Phum's well being. He's four now and rides a bike now (with a helmet). He's a very happy boy as he has a nice household full of love and support.
Worry warts, please review my post earlier on accepting a certain level of risk--as your parents necessarily did when you didn't wear helmets while on your bikes and such.
Alan, it would have been better if the boys had been wearing helmets during this ride. However, you seem to be implying that a helmet removes any level of risk associated with this activity. Helmets reduce the incident of head injury resulting from a fall off of a scooter by half. This means that if I'm criminal for letting my kids ride without a helmet then I'm still half criminal for letting them ride with them. Actually, whether it makes you sick or not, I want my kids to experience certain
The likelyhood of the little one falling is pretty good when he is just learning. If his head strikes the pavement (even at this relatively slow speed) his life will be permanently altered (or ended)! It is criminal for parents to not protect their own child. It is sad and depressing to watch. The parents should be ashamed of themelves...
But, just like MOST parents, you could really care less, right? It makes me sick to my stomach.
@ZaneScooter ... Easy there, potty-mouth. What are you, like 15? Helmets aren't for losers, they're for people who like to live to see another day. When you die a horrible, tragic death from blunt force head trauma at least your DNA will not go on to further your sheer stupidity.
OMFG IS THAT NEAR THE MC DONALDS IN MT EPHRAIM, like you turn down the one street follow it untill you get to the reallllyyyy step hill and then turn into the parking lot then walk on the path?!
