I understand why you titled your videos this way, though I do not agree with it. Because ever person with autism or aspergers (like me and your daughter) are completely different. And have different fun personalities and if someone truly would want to learn about autism, I suggest they get to know several people who have autism, or just the person who started their curiousity. :) I don't think your girl want to be labeled for the rest of her life, as I'll think she'll do great. :)
Shes really cute!!! :) I'm 15 and have Aspergers too, I know how it feels!! That's really good how she can learn and remember that!!! I was diagnosed when i was 12,but my mother and people around me could see that I had a behavior problem when I was very little.Anyway,I hope your daughter keeps up the good work, because she is very talented! :)
your little girl is amazing, and i have no doubt that she is Aspergers, my younger brother is also, and is seriously brilliant, but do you feel they are too quick to diagnose kids with it nowadays? My brother was diagnosed back in 1993, at nearly 5 years old, which is really quite old when you see them being diagnosed at 2 now! How old was your little girl.. By the way she is beautiful, and i dont see her as having a "problem" (hate that word) Who are we to judge. maybe were the 1's with a prob.
Anyone knows how to tell if you have Asperger's or schizophrenia? Can you have both at the same time.....? What about dramatic mood swings....? Could it be bipolar? Is that even possible....? Any advice, please.....?
@mumenschantz Asperger isnt as unproblematic as you think it is. People with asperger are not always talented/intelligent but eccentric individuals its just that those get the most attention. An aspie who do not get special attention can very easily become a wreck. You see the world as black and white. "Ohh so they are not entirely dysfunctional"(black) "That means that it doesnt exist"(white).
You are my inspiration. Like you said. "She is my daughter and she is my hope".. Whenever I feel down I would think of that comment you made.IT gives me inspiration.
@feelgoodinc2D When I was first researching Aspergers I found great solace in watching videos of other children with Aspergers. I wanted to do the same for other mothers and fathers out there. Putting Aspergers in the title brings their search to this video. I found a lot of videos of strange behavior and wanted to put something positive and amazing out there to show that it can be a virtue to have Aspergers if allowed.
@sammcd779 I really appreciate this. We are beginning the process of checking our 5 year old boy for either pervasive developmental disorder or aspergers. And I wouldn't have looked at the video otherwise had it not said asperber's in the title so I get why you did it and I appreciate it. p.s. she's a doll
@sammcd779 Not everything, accent is very strong, but still i understood what is this song about :) You should give her musical education. Really. My parents were buying musical instruments for me since i was 1 year old and now i play 5 different instruments, sing, write songs and record them in my home studio :) And please, ask her would she like to study languages:) I started studying english when i was 5. I was watching educational toons all the time so my parents found me a teacher :)
My son taught himself a song in swahili when he was in second grade.....He is now a junior in college doing well....singing in the choir and he has his own radio show.....aspbergers is a gift.....we all learn about the world in a completedly different way. Bless you for encouraging your daughter to sing
Aspergers may exist but it doesn't necessarily owe its existence to neurology because there's no proof that the psyche is product of neurology and not vice versa. It is over diagnosed though and often people self fulfill erroneous prophecies.
@mumenschantz My nephew is an Aspie and I know of a few others aswell, so to say it doesn't exist is foolish - you clearly have never cracked open a book on neurological science or anything at all that corresponds to intelligent argument about this condition. I can only conclude that you are some sort of troll, because I would like to think nobody could truly be such an imbecile to spout the absurd drivel you are here.
Thank you for the positive feed back! She is currently enrolled in musikgarten. Her teacher says she is the spark of creativity in her class ( : She struggles with the structure but makes up for it in creativity.
Way to go sweetie!!!! As a concert pianist & music school director, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get your wonderful little girl piano lessons ASAP!!!! Always keep a song in your heart! She's WONDERFUL!!!!!!
@mumenschantz - Ok, we get it. You have Asperger's which is NOT a 'handicap.' The main issue is that OTHER people get annoyed that the aspie cannot fit into the box unders have created for him/her. Most children can just adapt but an autistic or aspergers cannot but you already know this and you're just trolling. I'm going to start telling those who are dying of cancer, 'hey, it doesn't exist!!'
@mumenschantz I KNEW it!!! I saw your other comments and now I see. You ARE an aspie too. Look, friend, it's not an affliction or a disease or an issue unless YOU make it out to be one. The world ISN'T logical and that is what you need to learn. I grew up thinking that everyone else had my genius level IQ but then I got older and found out that isn't true. I now tell myself, 'remember that there are stupid people and ignorant people in the world so don't get upset when you meet them.'
@mumenschantz -What are you on about? Of course anyone can memorise things but does that same person have difficulties interacting with others? If YOU are 'neurotypical' (normal) do YOU walk away when someone is speaking? Do you misunderstand when someone asks 'how are you?' Are you awkward and others point it out? Do you get called 'weird' or that you act like a robot? What are you trying to prove? It is difficult enough to BE an aspie much less with others telling us to, 'hey, just FIT IN!!'
@mumenschantz -Oh, if only that were true. Go and do some simple research. You have access to a computer. It's named after Dr. Hans Asperger. What makes your comment so heartbreaking is that instead of understanding and offering up love to others, it is easy for the hatefilled to just say, 'it doesn't exist' which is illogical. Does diabetes exist? I feel sorry for you and I suspect that you might be autistic yourself and feel isolated and lonely and are trying to convince yourself. Yea, I know.
@mumenschantz No? Most neurotypical children would not have the patience or the interest to focus on learning the same song in 18 different languages. That is a symptom of Aspergers. It most certainly does exist!
whats wrong with her i am nine and i was looking this up but i found this and at the beginneing she was setting the computer so, he doesnt have anyhting just acting
To all of the negative comments watching a vid of an aspi child only gives you a tiny insight of what it's like . My son has it and seems very "normal" untill the melt downs come or the repition or anxiety. So unless you have dealt with this , dont look like an idiot and post bs!
@aspimom8090 - Amen. I am a grown woman and I've learned to tell people first and I also run LONG distances and do meditation which has worked wonders. I was in the coffee shop the other day and 2 career drunks came in and started shouting profanities. I could feel the flash of adrenaline and the rage starting so I asked the guy who works there to get them to leave and he made a weak attempt so I said, 'look, just TELL them to leave.' I then told him after that I was about to flip out royally.
@ConcreteAngelx3 she has an IEP set up for her as a safety net. We only use it if she is having a hard time. She is very high functioning, we are lucky.
I am not trying to convince anybody of anything. I'm just sharing my daughters exceptional ability. Maybe you could keep your negative comments to yourself.
my 5 year old daughter has apergers and she too has a great memory, she will hear a note in a song and will repeat the whole song and some movies (dora and seasame street) she is normal..there are nothing wrong with these children at all they just have a very open mind and take in much more then we can...love these children like all others! god bless you and your beautiful little girl, she has a beautiful vioce!
correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't asperger's syndrome when the person find it difficult to express emotions but usually have a very intense interest and talent?
@NotRealNinja That's part of it, yes usually those with aspergers are not socially inept, and miss out on social cues completely. Also, many with aspergers are higher level IQ, and take intense interest in something and perfect it....very interesting!
I am very grateful for having Asperger’s Syndrome. It has been a valuable asset. But it did make childhood harder for me. I think it is a little easier today because of the greater awareness.
Its a less severe autism. I use to teach student with this speciality in private college(degree level). Some of them have a very high IQ and sometimes they score very high in examination because of memorizations. They normally alone and need a lot of guide to learn something. The college does not even care about the students since their parent can provide financial security for them.It is me who still searching for solution on their career.I believe they can have a good career and work like others
i love your response to TheArkaydian. when i was young i would "collect" how to count in different languages. there was no internet back then. anytime i would meet someone who spoke a new language, i would learn it from them.
@ChronoCade Yes, the lyrics to the song, in English, are thus: do mi sol do do sol mi do Every truly cultured music student knows You must learn your scales and your arpeggios Bring the music ringing from your chest And not your nose While you sing your scales and your arpeggios If your faithful to your daily practicing You will find you progress is encouraging Do mi sol me do mi sol me fa la sol it goes When you do your scales and your arpeggios
@TheArkaydian You are right, there is nothing wrong with her! It's not a disease, it's a neurological difference. I only post videos of her amazing talents! (: keep up the research
Most Kids only learn a few words not all that she did... she is wonderful, I am like that with the guitar... nothing wrong with her like the rest of us aspie's she is different...
@TheArkaydian there is nothing wrong with anyone with a disability. people with Asperger's Syndrome tend to have unique talents. My friend can tell you the day of the week you were born on if you tell her your birthday.
@TheArkaydian - There is nothing 'wrong' with people with Asperger's. It is that the world wants us to conform to what 'everyone else is doing' and because we cannot, we get bullied and labelled 'strange' when in actuality it would be easier to accept that others are different and that yes! it is OK to be intelligent. I think that's the main problem people have. The majority cannot stand intelligence so they bully it and put it down.
I am Aspergers as well - and I did the same sort of thing at her age! I saw the Olympics and was fascinated by all of the anthems. I'm still learning them all phonetically.
The older she gets the smarter she becomes having learning hobbies will help her alot reading games art designs flowers colors will draw eye contact.AS think beauty in these things more then normal people do.
[do, mi, sol, mi do, mi sol ... ecc.] is from the solfeggio names of the notes of a scale. do,re, mi, fa, sol, la ti (or si) do. she is singing the arpeggio using the proper names. the rest i do not know. And she is singing quite well. Very , Very cute! my singing as a three year old prompted them to put me in music school at the age of four. i loved it. i will be forever grateful!!!
@sammcd779 thanks? i just meant it's like a song w/ a lot of the same words b/c that's the point of the song. i wasn't trying to put her down at all. i think this is absolutely wonderful.
Thank you for sharing we are thinking my son may have asperger's so watching video's help. So thank you.

It's not Russian. I am Russian, I don't hear any word in Russian. It's just sounds with Russian or Spanish accent.

love&hugs&bllessing to all those with this "condition"; it is not merely medical, in my opinion, but spiritual first.

GreenGirl444 1 year ago
@GreenGirl444 No, there are lyrics, too. It's about the importance of a music student to learn both their scales and arpeggios.
