  • thx

  • We do not. According to the USDA, all species of roaches except hissing cockroaches are considered crop pests. Transport across state lines is illegal. Once we contacted the USDA and were unable to get a permit, we stopped selling roaches.

  • You guys don't sell roaches anymore, right? I couldn't find any on the site. :(

  • hey, how do u reproduce turkistan red racer roaches????

  • Sorry. You did mention ceramic emmitter. It's good to cover them with the lid (glued metal screen top, of course) and tape all around the top sides with clear tape. This is just an extra measure of no escapees. Even though they can't live in cold temps to infests your home and can't climb (baby nymphs can a little bit). But overall dubias are the best feeders for any reptile.

  • I agree on the dark. Lights only come on in the roach room when we feed or cup them...we are in the minority with recommending a substrate, but the use of a substrate provides a humidity sink for the colony. No problems getting out nymphs.

  • Roach tub should be dark (roaches like dark), no substrate needed (makes cleaning and separating baby nymphs hard), heat should be heatpad or heat emmiter ( no red bulbs - roaches like dark), and to maintain proper temp - digital temp / humid themometer and dimmer (light appliance dimmer works well). Overall you did good job on the tutorial. Not trying to critizes you. Just helping out. Thanks.

  • @sirwesdragon Actually Room tempurate is fine however they don't breed as fast. So if you have to feed alot of reptiles or you are breeding then you need a heatpad, etc
