  • Nice usage of fishing line....incorrect flight dynamics for free flying. Just look how it tracks exactly the same path.

  • no that looks real but it is not a real fly it did .

  • Still more stable than the real thing.. ;-)

  • I like it.

  • 2:05...What's that the little girl said??

    "That's the shizzz..."

  • @PrinceVaskur

"Das ist hübsch" - That is pretty

  • @Itchy4000: Aha, danke Itchy. ;)

  • very good i like the string trick:)

  • LOL'd when it landed and moved after the motors stopped.

  • its a real cool looking model you made only to bad you had it suspended on fish wire but beside that you did a great job building it to bad it doesn't really fly

  • @darkjelle

I can't do it better with the limits of Lego.

  • @Itchy4000

I know so still I think its a really cool model and as for the flying it took of on its own so lets say it really hovers with no help

but I will keep saying this it is a really cool build

  • @darkjelle May not fly due to the limitations of legos but it can at least move on its own. That alone is pretty damn impressive.

  • i give u props for making the osprey, but u can tell when its faked when u landed it, next time wait to stop the "motor" when u hit the ground. oh, and turn the propeler the right way when flying, might look better. :)

  • @ProductionZunlimited

What did you mean with "turn the propeller the right way"?

  • @Itchy4000 the real thing has counter rotating props. One spins clockwise the other spins counter-clockwise.

  • @gernith

I know, but I can't find counter-clockwise props to buy.

  • @ProductionZunlimited you do know its on a string right?

  • Now, cut the rope.

  • he didn't say it was cool, he just said the thing was real and lego and flying he didn't say how. geez I'm disliking it

  • can it actually fly for reals????

  • More like the first "simulated flying" LEGO V-22 Osprey.

I like the beam and counterweight with string design though. It makes it almost like its truly flying. And at least it won't fly away on you.

  • @TheShooter12321

Oh my god. You can see my hand they hold the IR-remote control. This is unbelievable. I can see green grass.

  • @Itchy4000 so why the motion in sync with the thing?

  • @Itchy4000 WTF??? I SAW A BRICK!!!! THERE'S ANOTHER ONE!!!!!! your garden is truely amazing! lol i like the plane! like!

  • i knew it was fake because 2 motors cant lift up that thing and also it would crash into the wall

  • i saw a line but preaty cool

  • Omg watch the hole vid please don't be a john MCane ok

  • Fake theirs no wind the grass don't move at all

  • @feb2271

That is Lego and not an Airbus A380.

  • 2:01 for the idiots that din't watch the full video, its attached to a string.

  • why is it only spinning in circles?

  • do an ac130

  • wtf

  • The reason you have more dislikes is the dishonest title. You have not made the first 100% LEGO heavier-than-air flying model. It's still pretty cool though.

  • 2:09 minutes of my live!!!!

  • it it actually lifting off on its own power or is the cord holding it in the air

  • @KnuxMaster

It lift up by his own power, but the counterweight reduce the weigth to lift.

  • @KnuxMaster The 4 Lego XLmotors have a weight of nearly 500gramm, so the machine has a weight of more than a kilo, because there haver to be batteries and the other Lego-bricks... That makes it impossible to fly it without a cord from above

  • @ElvisLEGOchannel Therefor it flies in circles

  • @KnuxMaster you can see @1:23 it get set down

  • I think you should put last 10 seconds to the beginning of this video, or other viewers may consider you as a lier.

  • awesome!

  • Bluescreen :D

  • alright cool now drop my damn care packages

  • Up until the 60's and cheap/light RC components, all model airplanes flew like this, tethered to strings or control chords. Nice job.

  • @Shanawolfo1

In the GDR in 1985 I have played with this art of modell flying.

  • now make a life size xD

  • @HACKEDUZERZ

    ;-)

  • even though it isnt "flying" its still a wonderfull build, not to mention tricking me at first. :)

  • if only it could fly. (sighs) that would be pretty cool.

  • its fake cuz the rotors stoped before they hit the ground and how can something like that land with no rotors spinning

  • Wtf give me god damn it!

  • At the end they show you the clothesline

  • did you really think we'll believe this? I mean, seriously, it was spinning around a central axis, obviously because all it did spin around the axis, it still moved when the propellers weren't spinning.

  • sorry but this cannot fly without the STRING u attached to it... but looks cool!

  • That FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @h311r4z really, really?

  • AMAZING.

  • @LegoMovieMan44 do you really believe that!!??

  • I liked the video but last of all i realised that it not is RC ghahahahahah!!!!>)

  • Fake and real. +1 :D

  • nice job hiding the fishing line :)

  • Good video! Very creative :)

  • sadly, I can't say anything about the41 people that disliked because41 people liked too :( wait, I liked, 41 people are bitches

  • if you wanna dislike or be nasty, watch it from @2:01 as a cartoon; the characters are awesome;]]

*considering the lego's limitations, you have some skills.. now, did you use glue? ;]]

    thanks for sharing

  • @durox

    I don't use glue.

  • the props stop 3 seconds before it hits the ground and then continues to move in a circular pattern the video really sucked

  • @bigmikewhitton

    Max 1 second.

  • Have half of you idiots actually watched this video all the way to the end? They actually show you it is on a string attached to a prop on a clothesline

  • @murdoc53

Hey guy, no one is a idiot. The one half (Lego knowers and spezialist) think that it is great work. The other half says it is no good, but the don't know the restrictions of Lego.

  • @murdoc53 i know ay

  • ARE YOU PEOPLE STUPID? there are two strings...

  • I don't know why all the dislikes. It is still awesome, even if it is fake.

  • @GravySan1

It's a bad world of "dislike-guys" but they don't know how hard work it was to build this model. And this model "flys" more than all other Lego creations.

  • @Itchy4000 I can imagine. I have worked with robotics and such, and getting motors to work without interfering witht the general design is a bitch.

  • it will be funny if he hits the wall then it breaks!!

  • Fake! Just kidding. Cool project! And safer than the real thing!

  • You can tell thats fake

  • @Randomsda so what if its "fake"? he said it would fly. he never said it would be "free flight". the point is it got off the ground and stayed. either way the time that went into mustve been great, the results were quite cool. if u tried youd find its alot harder to do this than u think. just creating the tilting props would be hard enough. give him some credit.

  • @Topher7527

You are my light in the dark world of "fake squallers".

  • @Itchy4000 thanks. it really annoys me when people tell off about nothing because they dont really think the situation through. so many people were complaining about nothing i just had to say something. though you should try to make it fly unsupported. that would be awesome. youll have to empty it out though so itll only be a shell and give stronger motors. either way your work is awesome.

  • i know thw 'flyin' around' part is fake, but is the 'take off' part fake too? cause it looks so real

  • @davstudios027

I use always the same system, a lever with counterweight. Nothing more. Only problem: in nature there is wind, but not in the living room.

  • Every normal peaple know it is fake, but it is good fake, the lego is to heavy to fly. but if i see right you have same system (lever) to "reduce" weight of the plane. so it can take of "it selfs" am i right? Sorry for my bad english.

  • @TheMultiMoon

You are right my friend. I use a lever with a counterweight. The Fake bawler has no idea how hard it is, to lift up this heavy modell with the force of 4 bumblebee.

  • The physics of it are not right, you nerver had enough airspeed to EVER go from virtical to horizonta flight. Trying to fool people with a tethered flight, is to say least fraud if not an all out lie. sad.

  • @222Doc

Do not take it so seriously with physics.

  • I can tell its fake because the way it touches the ground after the rotors have stopped is unatural.

  • @jetbugreconkiller

You are right, but you can see a very soft touchdown in the other video.

  • @jetbugreconkiller Yeh, and no one cant go so little ring around with rc plane...

  • When you say "First real flying", it sounds as if you claim the plane lifts itself rather than being suspended by wire.

    Why?

  • @LasseDeleuran

The Osprey lift off only by the power of his own engine. I have never seen another Lego model that can do this. But you're right. The power of 4 Lego XL-motors brings only 2N thrust. That ist only enough to overcome the friction, but never enough to lift the weight.

  • @LasseDeleuran I dont see the wire.

  • dude u are the king of legos from now on!

  • @Cars2cool321

    Thank you

  • When video started I thought that it is impossible to make pure lego fly. And it is :D
