@yuuha0610 全く同感です。しかしいずれ、原爆２発や空襲攻撃した報いはその内受けると思う。現にアメリカは世界中の恨みを自らの行いで招いている。今の中東による戦争がいい例。アメリカは石油目的で自ら戦争をしかけて自ら大義名分を作った。そう、大東亜戦争で日本に対して行った、姑息で卑怯な行為と酷似している事を、奴等は今でも行っている。呆れるほど喧嘩の仕方が巧い。その代償はいずれ、アメリカ滅亡として払ってもらわないと、世界中の人達の気が済まない。

@ASKT1234 FYI Hiroshima was the hq of the Japanese 2nd AreaArmy under Field Marshal Hata. 43k J troops were in the city & 20k-30k died in the bombing.

@kentamitchell FYI, all Japanese troops in Hiroshima had already been neutralized. They posed no threat whatsoever. :) AND, Hiroshima was a civilian city with military elements. Most military and industrial centers were on the edge of the city. The bomb was dropped on the center.

@kentamitchell The Japanese had already agreed to pre-war negotiations given by America. The only concession that the Japanese weren't willing to make was that of losing the emperor. So, your information is biased and wrong. Japan had stated prior to the war that they were willing to stop their advances. The worst they could ask would to be to keep Formosa--Taiwan, if you didn't know--Manchuria, and China. Which, they wouldn't ask, for they had already agreed to pull out of China if

@inukikyo89 WRONG AGAIN! The Japanese occupation of Indochina convinced FDR to put on the oil embargo. Japan never made ANY peace offer after PH until AFTER H&N. After the Potsdam Declaration, did the J govt say, "Fine, just let us keep our emporer". No! They 'mokusatsu'-ed the offer- and within 2 weeks, 200,000 died due to their hubris.

Most of the American information they received was either mistranslated or inaccurate--as was the information America received from Japan. (America highly mistranslated everything just about that the Japanese said prior to PH.

The attack on China 1895, the attackon Russia 1905, the seizure of Manchuria in '31, the invasion of China in '37,Mongolia in '39, the occupation of Indochina in '41. @kentamitchell Japan sent NUMEROUS offers for peace before the war, as did America. Japan never neglected a single negotiation--except for the last one which was made by Cordell Hull deliberately. Japan was willing to accept Proposal A, Proposal B (modus vivendi), and had even attempted at their own negotiations.
I'm speaking of a war with the US. Obviously. Japan's attempt to make the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere is irrelevant.

And, MacArthur is relevant how? The Japanese people were fine with Emperor Hirohito. Now, after Emperor Taisho (formerly Crown Prince Yoshihito and Emperor Hirohito's father), Japan wasn't in the best shape, but this was due to the mental state of Emperor Taisho.

@kentamitchell They wished not to attack America. They were making peace negotiations (or trying to) that limited their expansion in the East.
The Japanese knew they would most likely lose a war against America. They never wished to start one, for they knew that it could (and eventually was) be the fall of their empire.

@ASKT1234 Most definitely. The problem with the world's perception of the atomic bombings is that they always argue "Well, the Japanese military did this," or "Hirihito was going to do that." They never think about the hundreds of thousands that probably wanted no part of the war, even when it started. They formed the vast majority of the dead.

@chiggero Think of this. Millions of Americans also wanted no part in the war. They thought america was to remain neutral. FDR issues a peacetime draft, then sends people off to war anyway despite saying that america was neutral. I'm not saying america shouldn't have joined the war, but the majority of the americans fighting in ww2 didn't want to be there, yet they died anyway.
