*sad sigh* they just don't make them like this any more. So many hours of my youth spent glued to my Amiga 500 painstakingly muddling my way through this game. I feel sorry for the youth of today. They may have awesome graphics, but do they have Grog? Do they know how to win a sword fight with witty repartee? Do they know the joy of using gopher repellent on stuffed yaks? I don't know how old you are, but this game was developed by Lucasfilm, and in the nineties it was without a doubt one of the major players in the gaming industry, particularly in adventure games, producing the most important titles of the genre imho, including "Day of the Tentacle", "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" and the "Monkey Island" series itself. So no, it wasn't a 3rd party game as you put it, it was a big title.

@billstpor I meant from a company that is as large as something like Microsoft or Sony. By 3rd party, I essentially meant outside of the well-known music producers. Lucasfilm, as you say, was definitely a mainstream producer at that time, but this music is so good it could compete with more modern video game music like SMG's Gusty Garden. It just has that quality of originality. And since this game was made in the 90's, it's all the more impressive since console video games were relatively new.
