  • that is super awesome

  • ahhaha just saw it on step three thanks

  • hi were did you buy the plastic and whats is its name?? ty nice vid

  • u should go without swimming pants, u will go faster.;)

  • pretty epic but i dont think that the cinder blocks on a kids slide isnt the best idea. just saying

  • 2:56 would be an awkward moment if you would slide down like this

  • omg how did you make this i want one :)

  • That's tighttt!!! (:

  • That is so cool

  • I saw some people do this at a beach island once.

  • Can you add a picture of what your lawn looked like after you took the slide down? :-) I'd be curious to see the collection point for the pool at the bottom too.

  • @Haksing We only had it set up for two days. The lawn was fine, no harm done. The collection pool is already shown several times in the video. It is the first picture in the video (steps one & two). I was hoping the slide would end with the riders splashing into the pool. Unfortunately, the slope of the ground didn't cooperate and they never made it to the deeper water. I did dig a deeper hole in the corner of the pool for the pump suction hose.

  • @wingslike Well that was a great idea and I will have to try it someday, thx for sharing. How did you dry out all that plastic before storing it?

  • @wingslike Well, we've set up the slide twice now and I've decided filling the tubes with air is just too hard!!...so we're gonna try filling the tubes with packing peanuts!...one 20 cu. ft. bag is $25 at Uline...still planning on linking a video of it here soon :)

  • what if they bump there heads on the brick

  • Well it was harder than it looked but we made one and it was a blast!!!...I'll have to link some video once I figue out how to...inflating the tubes was the difficult part...we used zip ties and Gorilla tape and they still deflated a bit...I wonder if that stuff they put in helium balloons would help...don't know what it's called (??)...anyways, thanks again for the awsome idea...we're set for the summer!:)

  • hopefully we'll have enough water...maybe 2 hoses will work? I was wondering how long your slide is? I noticed Uline sells poly "sealers"...it would probly work better than tape but another $75 on top of the rest is probly too much...

  • this is such a great idea!..we're gonna try a modified version for the 4th..it'll probly be w/o a pool/pump...unless I can come up with an idea b4 then...but our hill is slightly steeper and level at the bottum...we have (2) 10'x20' plastic sheets and yesterday I picked up some 14" tubing at Uline...thank you for recommending them it turns out they have a local warehouse only 15 min away :) I still need to get some salt bags..thinking of using our firewood!..lol!!...

  • I need some more details on the side tubing. I have a shop vac but I am not understanding out how you sealed the tubing? Duct tape?

  • @ShaneGorrell Yes, I used duct tape. I folded the end several times and then used duct tape to hold it. It was easy to seal the first end. Sealing the second end, after blowing up the tube was difficult. I don't believe I ever got a perfect seal. I had to re-inflate the tube every three hours or so.

  • How do you inflate the tubing?

  • @Shadus I used a Shop Vac. We used one that allows you to connect the hose to the exhaust. I'd think a hair dryer (on cold setting) would also work.

  • why go to a water park, when you can have one in your yard! lol

  • I am soooooo going to marry into that family!

  • where did you get the plastic liner

  • @topspinrules Hardware stores sell plastic sheeting. I think I bought a roll of 20' x 100', but did not use it all.

  • sweet!!!!

  • where did you build this?

  • wow , thats really clever + creative

  • at 0:48 the girl winked at you and the music sounded like she was gonna win a frickin race or something crazy

  • That was not a big enough hill!

  • I dont have a hill. And that cost to much money

  • that looks sooo fun. i want to make one!!!!

  • wow! fantasic idea! i love it :D wish i can build that ....but our garden is too small :(

  • you are a genius.

  • I'm so jealous, this is just epic!

  • how deep is that pool?

  • @mckuletzz The pool slopes down the hill. At the bottom it is about 8 inches. I also dug a deeper hole in the corner for the pump suction hose.

  • @wingslike ok thank you very much :D

  • wow what an awesome dad you are :3

  • 1:11 OMFG A DUCK!!!!!!

  • this looks like tons of fun. whats a trash pump

  • tht looks so fun since I'm young I can't afford tht stuff

  • can you make it go any faster?

  • can you make it go any faster?

  • Cool are you going to put a pool there?

  • how deep is ur ''pool''?

  • good stuff. now, would "padding" the slide help with uncomfortable lil bumps? im sure lil pebbles on bones would hurt as only plastic to pad as seen?

  • Could you possibly be the coolest parents on the planet?

  • yeeerrrrr baby looks cool.. i make one each year will try with the water pump this year 5 star

  • lol at 2:16, stuck behind the fat dude!

  • looks like fun

  • i wouldnt call it ghetto considering their water bill

  • now thats ghetto

  • Wow, nice slide! You guys look like you're having a blast. The concrete blocks as weights is kinda scary to me, I'd probably lean more toward using sand bags, hay bales or spare tires, something heavy but a bit softer.

  • one question........ where does all the water go?

  • The water collects in the "pool" at the bottom of the slide. From there it is pumped back to the top.

  • nice vid but you slide to slow

  • I rented it from from the hardware store

  • @wingslike you're the owner of that hardware store??

  • i want to see someone fly sown that thing as fast as they can. nice idea with the pump. savin water!

  • nice video man well done

  • nice video. i want to do something lke this. im jealous. anyways 5 stars.

  • 5 stars
