  • the third = daemonic force (daemon in greek classical thought)

  • isnt he gay

  • maybe im just stupid but i think that guattari talked about schizo energy and it links with this.

  • I am a victim of the insurance crime and poetic terrorism gives me new hope--it is the sun after a long period of darkness and fear.

  • Oh, Peter, you lovable virtuoso of progressive & radical musing. Bless you. Teehee.

  • in cyberspace "you have interactivity, but no communication"...

is he talking about youtube comment boards?

  • His works are inspiration to me to continue on my quest of activism

  • <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 LUV HIM!!

  • I could have sworn he was black. However, maybe he's an albino nigga...

  • He's not black, obviously, but he is a pederast. In fact, his the whole of his philosophy is a defense of pederasty. The logical conclusion of Anarchism is child rape. Teehee!

  • Yeah! He rocks! Teehee!

  • He rocks doesn't it? Teehee!

  • @urvil You have such a basic unadorned attack that it almost seems not worth rebuttal, child rape does not equal TAZ anymore than the declaration of independence equals pornography, you create identity where none exists, you try to identify one thing with another, the map does not equal the territory, in other words by saying I am free, I don't imply I will cause harm to anyone, in fact harm seems to me something avoided at all costs barring self-defense.

  • @urvil

He doesn't support rape of children or adults.

There is a strong current in his writing against making people do what they do not wish to do in any way. An attraction to teenage boys that isn't acted upon isn't "child rape".

  • Hakim Bey also advocates PEDERASTY - MAN BOY PEDOPHILIA

    DOLTS.

  • He still might talk about interesting concepts.

  • So would Hitler, but I wouldn't sit through his crazy shit.

  • @grandmabeatinstick - Im not so sure he advocates it, but yes, I do remember reading all about it in one of his essays and was very troubled with its content, cos everything else is right on the money.

  • hay i could use some comments and on my page and i would like them from people i sould like and want to change my ideas

  • This is fascinating. This man and his work really opened my mind and I owe him a lot. The TAZ concept is more relevant now than ever, as a revolution is now impossible in our society.

  • this is senseless. philosophy is a waste of time unless it is a functional belief system, way of figuring something out, a method of thinking, or science.

  • @DedanZumbi thats what they want you to think. just keep on being a worker bee

  • this guy isn't making any sense what the fuck is he talking aboiut

  • The true "TAZ" is not a physical place based on materialist concepts but a place in Spirit manifested in the Mind and as such, is not temporary at all and is outside the realm of hostile forces. I can't accept this man's materialist concept being labeled "Sufism" because Sufism is a purely spiritual Principle.

  • what a beautiful carved wood chair...

  • i can hear the inteviewer is from the netherlands, horrible accent :P

  • he is probably somewhat depressed, after a long life of questioning a society that does not, will not get better...i understand him, don't expect that american la di dah smiley face attitude from everyone...it' s definetely hard to sustain optimism today..about anything at all.

  • someone brought this up when I told them about Baha'i Faith.

  • you mention the Baha'i faith...i want to look into it...apparently it calls for an inernacional language...interesting idea for me since I am studying esperanto.

  • Interesting. Im going to look into it. How did you find it and where is it mainly spoken?

  • @permacultureli man I am in my tenns and I am already depressed myself seeing how much people just buy into garbage or think they are doing something good but do shit. sigh

  • find happy, simple things, remain simple and happy, close to the earth and its yearly cycles...build from there...you can be happy...and just radiate that to others...nothing much else we can do...

  • @permacultureli thanks for the advice but I wasn't talking about being depressed about life but in terms how there isn't many people who rise up to the status quo, but I guess that still applies. Other than that I am quite a happ person. The comment I made was me being melodramatic about the possibility of there ever being any real change.

  • Oh.., but there will be change, don't worry...you are lucky to be young...you will see a lot of it...it will start in small areas and move from there...you are young enough to make the right choices and move to where you see it...for a while it is likely to become a split in society at large...but very real, very reason, and understandable by all...visible and logical...we are not as dumb as we appear.

  • and how can i tell if you are not doing shit also. at least if im doing shit im having fun

  • @permacultureli How could this society possibly get better?

  • @sandesashe if you get better at human relationships, sustainability, serenity, less consumerism...that is an influence on those around you...that makes it a little better...i guess...

  • "Islam is another pagan religion camouflaged by Hebrew writings": the common place usually told by the ones that never read the Quran or the texts of (real) sufis.

  • I never believed that Hakim Bey is a real sufi.

A real sufi MUST BE a muslim, before.

And I don't think that a real muslim would write all that stuff... chaotic phrases about an overcoming chaos.

  • Islam is another pagan religion camouflaged by Hebrew writings

watch dr. phil valentines "book of the earth lecture"

hakim bey is not here to join your corrupt clubs and reinforce your fantasy bubble you live in

  • If you assert islam is "another pagan religion" then i'm sorry to say that you are very well in your own fantasy bubble.

  • he seems to me to be more interested in the ideas presented by sufism rather than in being one himself

  • what is the Muslims are fake already?

is it a crime to fake on fakers?

    "Imaginary Shite Fanatics"

  • Nah. Only in cracker societies like sparta. That shit never went down in Kemet.

  • I am reading the book right now. I was going to read it months ago but decided not to because I assumed the man/boy lovin would get in the way - this isn't true.

No one is perfect, and I do not assume I will agree with any thinker completely (in fact that possibilty scares me).

The truth ish,alf way through the book and only once or twice has his pedastry issue come up. And in those cases, it was easy to skim over if need be.

I just don't think one issue should get in the way.

  • In a day and age when books like LOLITA are on top reading lists and favourite book lists... who careas? it is after all word and pedastry happens in real life so we gotta deal with it.

  • @TheOriginalEntz

Dealing with it is one thing, promoting it another.

  • what hes saying about cyber communication is important

  • Enjoyable video. Reading his book TAZ just now. One of the more interesting anarchists I've come across and a good writer with a great sense of humour. As for the pederasty, it's the ones who don't admit to it that we might perhaps be more worried about. At least he's honest and I look forward to a society that encourages people to be honest about their sexual deviancy, rather than one that puts people under fear of admitting to that.

  • amınısa koyım:D

  • I love Hakim Bey!!! He's awesome!

  • Hakim Bey is a moron. One of his articles is on NAMBLAs website for Christ's sakes. What an embarrassment to anarchism.

  • Really? Doesn't anarchism allow people to be themselves? How would YOUR ideal anarchist society deal with so-called pederasts?

  • @mendali

cut their balls of and then shoot them, for sure

  • He's a pederaster. He believes its OK to have consensual sexual relations with underage boys. Specifically in the friendly-old-wise-man to naive-young-boy, ancient Greek way.

  • lol, children labored all the time in the past. all of a sudden they're afraid to teach teens about sex and prohibit them working too young. Its only because the Economic system cannot support too many workers and the early freedom that it would afford children.

  • Eh, don't have the children working too early. Best not to have a career until you're well into your 20's or 30's.

  • @part2themovie Are you kidding??? Early freedom of child labor haha...think its time for your reality check, here you have: Industrial revolution is built on small kids back: watch?v=JqEBO3Fimek watch?v=IBE7QO1NU-I And even if kids in developed countries now can go to school and have fun, much of our riches is built on undeveloped countries kids work watch?v=bnJMtiO87ew watch?v=pTIfY9SmJdA watch?v=_AEmxaboH5s Freedom to be used, is the only freedom that child labour affords to children!
  • Virtually every ancient civilization had a form of this consensual behavior assimilated into their cultures. It is only OUR puritanical society that perverts this relationship into predatory rape.

  • The Dalai Lama seems a lot happier than this guy.

  • Because Dalai Lama is supported by the CIA.

  • happiness is overrated.

  • i love u shiot

  • the guy's just a piss poor romantic. fucking dinner party as an autonomous act (even if you eat black food as suggested in TAZ), baws (balls as we say in Scotland. if your interested in the real Autonomous movement check out Negri,Hardt, Guattari, Bologna 77 and early italian communists like Bordiga or recent italian projects like Wu Ming or the Luther Blisset project, nae some hippy kiddie fiddler (it's quite overt in TAZ). Never trust a Hippy (unless it's Penny Rimbaud)

  • I think he suggests that the social taboos and resulting laws surrounding so-called "pedophilia" are merely social, much like drug laws, sodomy laws, etc. He encourages all sorts of illegal clandestine activities. Read some of his work, it's fascinating.

  • are you retarded? self professed means that he claimed it himself.

the man himself is the fucking source for this information- he is published on nambla.

  • He seems very annoyed by the interviewer

  • Thats the risk you take thinking deeply.

  • I've known PLW personally my entire life and as a child I remember my parents being very wary of leaving him alone with me and my brother. He had a way about him when he was around kids that was not entirely to be trusted. Whether he ever went through with anything I don't know. What I'll say about his work though, because that, to me , should be the focal point, is that it always seemed made up on the fly. It all just seems like unsubstantiated conspiracy theory mixed with outright fantasy.

  • You know him? Prove it.

  • Nice reference in you're username by the way. :)

  • How do you want me to prove it to you? I've know him since I was born, he went to Columbia with my father. He never finished college, and moved to Iran. He came back to NYC and has been writing/working for Autonomedia. He now lives in upstate NY. There, is that enough? He's a great guy, lots of fun to hang out with, but his philosophies and theories always kinda seemed like not very well thought out mumbo jumbo. And that he behaves strangely around kids. That's all I'm saying.

  • Well, i know there are parts in TAZ that are pedo/gay shit. How do you mean he acted stangely?

  • I wouldn't worry about it. rabidicitizen2 may well know him, but he's only one opinion about him, and can't prove anything.

acted strangely? like w.c. fields did? wilson is not a father and might feel awkward around kids, no biggie.

besides, the pedo thing is clearly a smoke-screen to keep hipsters away. submitting poetry to nambla most likely is easy to do, and wilson knows sufi poetry; which speaks kindly of the image of the boy. not hard to throw up this decoy for the dimwits.

  • greAt hAkim!!! love him...

    thAnks for this gift

  • The visionary adult gives the child love that is not conditional upon sex ... Many visionaries believe the troubles that characterize our times are rooted in childhood sexual repression that prohibits age-free expression of sexual affection.

  • PLW is a prophet. All of you posting rumors and hearsay that is highly inflammatory, please focus on the real enemy.

  • bekde ta anaısın sikeyim

  • Yes, he IS a self-professed pedophile. But just because a person has undesirable traits doesn't automatically render what they have to say invalid. If that were the case, NONE of us would be capable of producing a valid argument!

  • Brilliant.

  • Pederast? Yea! He's in good company. Lifestyle-anarchist-diletantte (sic)? Bully for him! Beats the crap out of a Family Values anarchist. CIA agent? Evidence, please.

  • Google is just another bloated corporation. Jesus is Satan. Hakim Bey is Hassan-i-Sabbah. Long live the Hashishim!

  • hermes

  • watch?v=Q2BVpaezXrc

  • I don't recall asking him to do that.

  • This reminds me of somethin' D. Stanhope said: "Dying for your sins? What? What does one have to do with the other? That's like saying, 'I'm gonna bash my foot in with a crowbar for your mortgage'"

  • Extremely interesting interview.

He's written many excellent things, but my favorite of his books remains "Crowstone."

  • Woow Hakim Bey is fantastic! ....TAZ is fantastic! a rivelation, that book has change my life.

  • Temporary autonomous zone, this mindlift site is a plethora of TAZ meetings. Hakim bey is a strange outerwordly character, but fascinating

  • Thanks for the video
