I had a cat that went crazy for honeydew melons for a while. He had temporary diabetes. Needed to have his teeth cleaned. Blood tests found diabetes. Regulated blood sugar first with insulin. Then did the dentistry. Once his teeth were done and got better the diabetes went away! Did not need insulin anymore soon afterwards. He was 14 when the dentistry was done and afterwards was healthier than ever. Lived to 18!
