  • can anyone find the lyrics for this song

  • Why is sonic cd stardust speedway playing instead of this? :/

  • GREEN HILLS ZONE THEME?!?!?!

  • @ilikeGorillaz1 nope green hills zone music came from this game

  • This song is motivational.

  • the style of the animation is amazing, and the song is super 90's

  • Toot toot all aboard the sonic warrior

  • Entire planet, literally designed to be an evil-utopia - crawling with creatures set, almost solely, on killing you. Big deal? Nah.

  • This song is good, but I love to rock out to Sonic boom xD

  • Sonic CD ending and opening with vocals for steam version on mediafire:

    Bad Ending: /?g3lb3dlw4ig32sf

    Good Ending: /?plmilwbow5r7hab

Version with a much higher audio bitrate (Didn't work well on my setup):

    Good Ending: /?plmilwbow5r7hab

    Bad Ending: /?g3lb3dlw4ig32sf

Opening (Made by NeoGAF member Drkirby, not me): /?hz3gm7ug3y374a6

I used oggvideotools to strip and join the contents of the ogv files.

My versions aren't 100% perfect by the way.

  • I phone users of sonic cd sonic boom is available for the intro and ending video just change the sound track from Japanese to Us in the main menu

  • I listen to this for a laugh.

  • now available for STEAM. FUCK YEAH!!!

  • @FalconPunchFan

Intro song doesn't have lyrics you have to hack it in yourself.

  • @Rachman1337 yes it does have lyrics

  • I love how the lead vocalist woman sounds like she's Japanese, and learned English from a an English-fluent Russian.

Anyone else hear the Russian lilt?

  • @Alt Actually, it was. this is the EUR/JAP Opening theme for Sonic CD.

  • This version is better than the american version, because is the original. In keep very sad in the Xbox Version or other console, is because you can do anything don't have vocals! And i like that's mix with Japanese Voices and American Voices, is... is cool!

  • I think I prefer the US's 'Sonic Boom'...

  • This version is much better than Sonic Boom, I like Sonic Boom, this is more BADASS in my honest opinion XD

  • There needs to be a mission in Generations called Toot Toot Sonic Warrior.

  • The video is different on my version

  • Sonic Boom, Sonic Boom, sonic boom!!

  • This really makes me nostalgia. It reminds me of when I was about 4, playing Sonic CD and other classic Sonic games on my PC. God, I loved that.

  • "Leather and lace get me horny!"

    ...OK.

  • @NDS42592 Leather and lace get me horny/money!''

    ...OK.

  • you know... I always thought they were saying "Super" Sonic Warrior. Toot Toot I kinda find funny but I still love this song better than Sonic Boom. Especially at the end at 0:59, it just pumps you up and gets your ready to save the world.

  • the female singer in this song voiced sonic in this game.

  • Were gonna have fun , say , "Lysol!!!"

  • It's just an instrumental in XBLA

  • In my opinion, the American soundtrack is just fine on its own. It just doesn't fit Sonic as well as the Japanese soundtrack.

  • Say, FAT CAKE!

  • The new XBLA and iPhone versions of this song are nowhere near as good as this. The one thing I don't understand is why Sonic Boom stayed the same in both opening and ending whilst this and "Cosmic Eternity" were changed for some ringtone remixes. Was it because the people who sang them didn't want nay part in the re-releases?

Oh well, its still an amazing re-release but without this song just seems incomplete ;)

  • @SonicKing08

Copyright issues prevented them from using the original Japanese vocal tracks. It wasn't because Sega somehow thought the instrumental version sounded better. It was entirely because of legal issues.

  • @SonicKing08

The original holder to the rights died, apparently.

  • @CorruptedVehemence aaaand you are correct. :C

I was dissappoint when it didn't have the lyrics in the new one. but Tails honestly made up for it for me, that was pretty epic.

  • @CorruptedVehemence The songwriter also one of the male singers did die in 2009

  • I prefer sonic boom but this is still great

  • i hate how in the xbla version it has the instrumental! SEGA! Y U NO HAVE LYRICS TO TOOT TOOT SONIC WARRIOR?!

  • @webstertheclam

    Copyright.

  • i can here the remix from the new game in this so this is just the lyrics and rock louder then the techno

  • Just downloaded it on iOS. The intro has Toot Toot instrumental, no lyrics. Shame :(

  • shame this won't be in the remake for xbox live. Damn copyright laws

  • Since I had the Imported version, this signifies Sonic CD for me. I never had the version with "Sonic Boom" as the intro music.

  • Is this considered music?

  • sonic boom is better.

  • What's the "toot toot" part for anyways?

  • Sonic fans, learn where our music comes from

"Work That Sucker To Death" 1970s Xavier, Bootsy Collins, and George Clinton

    LONG LIVE THE FUNK..

why you think Sonic's music is so good? XD

    kids these days...

never give the old school props

  • Toot Toot ;)

  • Sonic Boom is better just in my opinion

  • From 0:04 to 0:09, who thinks of Cha La Head Cha La?

  • Am I the only one that likes this song more than Sonic Boom? :/

  • @Sonamy444 Nope, I can jam to this and annoy my friend with the first line in the chorus. TOOT TOOT SONIC WARRIOR!

  • Good but it can't replace Sonic Boom in my heart.

  • the lyrics for 0:29 are actually: Leather'n Lace - Getting in place

What to y' get - Say - Fast Jet

  • sonic boom is soooooooo much better than this POS song

  • This was on my sonic jam game i used luv dis shit

  • I loved the US soundtrack to this game, but even with the bad engrish this song completely owns "Sonic Boom".

  • i like Sonic Boom better...

  • i want this song in generations

  • I usually prefer the original songs in cases like this but Sonic Boom is a much better song.

    This is just awful.

  • Me: why do you hate this song so much?

My dad: it sounds like a commercial for beans

  • This is way better than Sonic Boom.

  • The lyrics at 0:30 are actually:

Leather'n Lace - Getting in place

What do y'get - Say - Fast Jet

Doom Room - Cosmic Zoom - Heads up Jake

    It's SONIC BOOM

Though I still think it sounds like

"Leather legs get me horny" 0.o

  • @CrashSG32 Yeah but is sounds like Gimme cake. And now you've got to 'Gimme Cake'

  • he may toot toot but can he feel the sunshine?

  • i swear it says... What do you get? FAGGOT!

  • Comment removed

  • i really love the tune of this song. the lyrics though, are absolute shit.

  • What....... the........ fuck......

  • Believe it or not its not supposed to say leather legs get me horny. Its supposed to sound like "leather n' lace, gettin, in place" but it sounds like the singer mispronounces it. I have trouble understanding all the lyrics without using a guide and based on the comments where people say what they hear the lyrics as I'm not the only one.

  • I can't stop thinking "Poot Poot sonic warrior!"....

  • I always thought they were saying super sonic warrior

  • @flame6753 it's a little disheartening when you realize their saying "toot toot" instead of super sonic.

  • @oneyeseesin3D yeah for real lol

  • Holy shit this is bad.

  • Wtf?!

  • I always hear "Leather and lace, gets me horny".

  • when i was a child i always thought the lyric was "super sonic warrior" instead of "toot toot sonic warrior"

  • Okay Mario got a lame Hotel adventure about closing doors and making lame jokes

Link and Zelda had three terrible adventures of helping out idiotic and scary islanders.

How come Sonic got a awesome early 90s CD advenutre while Mario and friends didn't!?

  • This is about 38 times better than Sonic Boom.

But they had to go and put the US versions on all the compilation discs, even the ones released in Europe :c

  • Here we go again. Don't fall behind! Say don't belay! Making Heaven! (Xigbar!) I pay the bar! Now shoo the 1337! Which one of you won't save Lysol? EXCALIBAR! It's not that far. What do ya mean? GIMME CAKE Poor horn! Lime stone! Forever alone! Leather legs get him horny! What do you get Satan? Fat cat! Broom broom, cock in two, that's okay, it's Sonic Boom!

  • this video just shows who sonic really is, not this modern sonic

  • I like the Japanese songs better than Sonic Boom...

  • Japense soundtrack sounds like sonic. The american soundtrack isnt bad hell no.Its just I love the japenesse soundtrack

  • The song was originally in Sonic 2 (8-Bit).

There is no need to argue about saying which game was made first.

But yes, I like this version better than the U.S. but I still enjoy playing the U.S. version.

  • You see, the Japanese version sounds like Sonic.

But when you play the U.S. soundtrack it just doesn't feel like a song you would hear in Sonic.

Sonic 2 and Sonic CD were in development at the same time.

Sega of America had Sonic 2.

Sega of Japan had Sonic CD.

That's why Sonic CD had Sonic 1 sprites.

The game over jingle in the U.S. Sonic CD is a man (possibly Robotnik/Eggman)

and a woman laughing evilly at your failure.

While this version saids : Too Sonic for ya!!

    Not Toot Toot Sonic Warrior.

  • This is a Green Hills Zone(Sonic 2 Game gear version) remix.

  • and then i came an entire river...

  • Are you sure this is from the European version? Because I live in the UK, and don't have this song on my copy.

  • @Seabutcher yours is sega cd right? if it is then maybe they released them with both

  • @totoyamado No, I actually have the PC version.

Maybe us UK-dwellers got the US version, or maybe all PC versions are the US versions. There's plenty of room for me to be wrong, I never understood the point of releasing games with two different soundtracks anyway.

(That said I prefer the US music anyway. :P)

  • @Seabutcher I haven, and I'm european

  • @Seabutcher I think all the MegaCD versions are Toot Toot Sonic Warriors, while the SegaCD, PC and Compilation discs are Sonic Boom.

  • wow there's something about this one thats catchy but the american version isn't as laughable

  • Eddie Merphy?

  • This has been in my head all day :L

  • I Swear I Don't Hear "Toot-Toot Sonic Warrior",

I Hear "Too Too Sonic For Ya"

  • Thumbs up if you searched

games where you can do anything

    and this came up.

  • Press 7

  • 16 people can't do anything.

  • You can hear the engrish.

  • Eddie Merphy

  • 0:39-0:42

    Wait....what?

  • I've been singing this song in my head all day!

  • I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be "too too Sonic for ya". Whoever came up with that "toot toot" bullshit needs to be kicked square in the throat.

  • Is it just me, or does anyone else have trouble making out the lyrics? 0:24-0:34 seriously sounds (to me) like:

"what do you mean? Gimme cake.

    Four horns, limestone

Check it out, Abe. Your never alone.

    Leather legs get me horny

Whatta you get? Say: fat cat!"

Like, I know that's not right but I can't hear anything else but that... :/

  • Comment removed

  • @Moggle08 you on crack? you can clearly hear the lyrics...Excalibur - it's not that far

What do you make? hey! give and take!

Goin' home - time zone - check out egg, he's never alone

Leather'n lace - getting in place

What to you get? say, fast jet!

Doom room - cosmic zoom - heads up jake

    It's sonic boom

  • @Moggle08 It's hilarious because it sounds right.

  • @Moggle08

Lmao, that made my day XD

  • @Moggle08 Because that part of the song is Japanese.

  • @TomicTheHedgehog No it's not XD

  • @Quartrez It is. Half of the song is Japanese to cater for the Japanese side, whilst the other half is English to cater for the Europeans - it's a fact, and even I can tell that it's definately Japanese. Even when they speak English in this song, it's a definate Japanese accent singing it.

  • @TomicTheHedgehog Look up the real lyrics, there's no japanese in there. And japanese doesn't sound ANYTHING like that. Trust me, if it was in Japanese, I'd know XD

BTW, not all europeans speak english, so they also should've made the song in a dozen more languages, according to your logic.

  • @TomicTheHedgehog is not japanese the full song is in english

its sounds japanese because they used japanese actors(because the song was made in japan, duh), is japanese accent english

  • @Moggle08 Leather legs is probably Never lake.

  • @Moggle08 No, it's the wrong lyrics ! It's not "Get me horny" it's "Get in point" XD

  • @Moggle08 dude it' japaneze!

  • @Moggle08 Exscalibur is not that far

what do you mean? give and take

thats what I get from the first line but its confusing!

  • @Moggle08 "Vroom Vroom

    What? SONIC BEWM."

  • toot toot fucks the american score into the mouth

  • one word for this "epic"

  • I like sonic boom better. this song starts alright...Kinda obnoxious the way it's like fast hip hop, i could tolerate it cuz its sonic and its meant to be fast. but then about 1:00 is where i start feeling like the song is out of place. Dont get me wrong, its a catchy good song, but i feel like it would be better for the ending credits rather than the beginning.

  • @pollo20x6 Thats because it is the japan theme, so I am guessing that was a little Japanese. Sonic Boom is the best, it is also the American language being used in Sonic Boom.

  • Hey everyone check out the video titled "Sonic CD fandub" by youtube user Shr00b! He made an awesome fandub of Toot Toot Sonic Warrior with different music!

  • Gonna be 100% honest, i prefer Sonic Boom

  • This is a great song, but there's one thing that always bugged me.

"Toot Toot"? What the hell is that supposed to mean, Sonic's a tugboat?

Personally I always thought that "super sonic warrior would sound better and MAKE SENSE (because when he gets 7 emeralds he becomes SUPER SONIC, remember?)

Idunno, maybe I'm harping on it too much. Still a kickass song.

  • 90s japenee pop cheasy but catchy it will never leave your mind like duck tales theme

  • I wish they knew english, because the japanese come up with some seriously kick ass melodies.

  • Trivia: Diehard Gamefan gave the original game a perfect 100% rating, then cut the US version to the 70% range, and made damn clear that the soundtrack change was the only reason.

Yes, they hated it that much.

Yes, the japanese soundtrack is that much better.

No, the game was good but not worth a 100% rating in the first place!

  • Leather 'n lace

    Let's get horny

    Whad'ya get say

    Fat dicks

    Vroom vroom

    Plastice zoom

    Let's all say

    Sonic Boom!!

  • I prefer Sonic Boom. But I am from the UK and this is what we got, and I bloody loved it.

This opening was how I always imagined sonic. I wish they stuck with the Image. But hey, times change, gotta keep him cool for the younger generation now.

  • @SethSquall I always preferred this song to Sonic Boom, the intro is epic, but this song is epic once it gets into the second part :P

  • Everytime I see Sonic dash up to the planet I think "Eggman you're screwed" XD

  • This song kicks that crappy and boring "sonic boom" versions ass hands down. Plus the ending theme Believe in yourself was great as well. Unlike the american version that just had sonic boom as the ending theme aswell as the opening. The european/ japanese soundtrack easily beats the us soundtrack.

  • @MizfitZer0 Sonic Boom is significantly better than this.

    OPINIONS ARE GREAT.

  • This version seems different to me..

    Whatever, great game!

  • at the end it sounds like someone farted or something XDD

  • @XShinichixRanX Seriously? How old are you?

  • Yeah....this songs amusing but good GOD is Sonic Boom better.

  • "toot toot" that's funny I always thought they were saying "Super sonic warrior" lol ah well I still like it

  • This song gives me goosebumps. I'm such a nerd.

  • THE POWER IS IN YOUR MIND TO SHAVE THE PLANET AND CONQUER TIME

  • Sonic at his finest. No one can deny that this is cool.

  • Why haven't more people used this song for phoenetic translation.

    *looks at lyric sheet*

Oh, it wouldn't make the song any less understandable, "Destination Heaven?", what?

  • EXCALIBAAH!

  • It's so ENGRISH! :D

  • @Blueblur91 yes it is

  • 0:29 get them horny did he just say that WTF

  • @Jonnyw216 It's actually kickin' his booty (shoes).

  • greenhill zone sonic 2 on the sms, search it its better ten this lool

  • Does anyone know the names of the singers in this song? I can't find anywhere that reveals this info :/

  • @frogster76 The female singer is Utoku Keiko

  • Sonic Boom, however, was the USA opener for Sonic CD.

  • I find both tracks equally appealing for different reasons. On the one hand, Sonic Boom is consistently good throughout. On the other, I don't care so much for the first half of You Can Do Anything, but the latter half is amazing and makes me wish it weren't so short.

  • eddie murphy anyone!

  • Wow, the lyrics almost match those of Jeh Jeh Rocket! ALMOST.

  • Weeaboos.

  • @JMDurden

This was the European opening too you know?

  • @JMDurden amerikkka

  • 1:10 Look at the way he stands on top of the mountain like a hero and shoots down it in a spin ball. If you think mario can beat that, you are a tramp.

  • @AzEvanz You must remember, all he did was stand my good friend, and mario has in 2007.

  • This is even worse than the Cosmic Eternity rap. Is Sonic Boom the only good one?

  • @SpraxIAKS sonic boom SUCKS!! this and cosmic eternity are way better than that opening

  • @SpraxIAKS what the fuck are you smoking dipshit! Spencer Nielsen shit music was disasterous for Sonic CD! Thank fuck Europe got the Japanese soundtrack.

Did you know that Sonic CD in the US was marked dowm by critics because of Nielsens shit music. This hammers that shit senseless.

  • @hoggys2much That's just his opinion you know...

  • @hoggys2much the US had it's good tracks. metallic madness bad future was much less over the top and gave a more realistic depiction of a bad future.
