  • So pretty much they made a women proof vehicle!!!! Sweet now I can feel safer on the road... -.- These options are dumb and worthless for men.

  • I hate the blindspot intervention system. Technology shouldn't replace common sense. Other than that this Infiniti is amazing, will give the Germans a run for the money no doubt.

  • what if it's snowing and has an effect on the sensor?

  • REPENT!!! jesus is future king of earth REPENT!!!

  • i hope it doesn't go crazy i feel a little worry about the car but it doesn't look bad etc

  • what about when you stop in a red light?

  • shity technology nothing that is so impressive, no voice command lol

  • Blind spot idea and system taking over is stupid

  • The blindspot intervention system and the blindspot warning system should be illegal on cars. I mean checking your blindspot is a rule when driving down the road, enough people don't seem to do it already and this might make it worse.

  • @7477238 perhaps more safety is always a ++ ??

  • @sambinoven There are certain features that are beneficial to safety. A blindspot intervention system is just laziness, the basics of driving should be left to the driver. I mean I can't live without computers and technology today but sometimes I think technology is going too far.

  • @7477238 i totally agree. but for a fact, we all "tend" to be lazy at times while driving (regardless how often). as sharp as i am while driving, i sometimes misjudge while overtaking, but this tiny bit of tech (in case i was driving such a car) will kick in and save my ride from going to the workshop for 3-5 days.

drivers should always be on full alert while driving, and adding such a technology should be welcomed the way i see it.

because: being more alert + tech = a LOT less accidents.

  • mercedes and bmw

  • BMW, mercedes, Audi, or Infiniti?

  • this just means more drinking and driving :P now ur more capable wen ur hammerd

  • agree with theaudiophile12!! i am just wondering if this system malfunctions....when you driving...wow!! how dangerous it will be!!!

  • what is this bullshit? what happened to controlling your own car? yea i kno it can turned off, but all that bullshit=expensive repairs, malfunctions and HEADACHE. I dont need help driving, thank you

  • @TheAudiophile12 Man Infiniti is NOT BMW(Big Money Wasted!!!) with tons of continuous electric and electronic failures due to Rubbish quality parts used, Infiniti-High Qua;ity

  • @TheAudiophile12 you know that the tech package is optonal right? so if you dont want it dont pay for this -.-

  • @TheAudiophile12 If you are paying $50k+ for a vehicle and you are worrying about its repairs either 1) you can't afford it. Or 2) you can't afford it. Every vehicle will probably give you some trouble here and there but Infiniti has a track record of putting a quality car on the road. So if you are worried about low repairs get an Aveo.

  • INFINITI has got the best technology in the industry.

  • zzz, you have your opinions and I have mine, be it with experience/or just research. Whatever

  • WOW, what a boing review!!! Terrible camera work on top of it.

  • @mapfund

Don't see the word "review" anywhere in the video's description. It's just supposed to be an overview of the technology, you dolt.

  • I'm so sorry, i almost forgot, "GTFO!".

  • he looks like peter north...huh

  • @EuthanasiA12833 hahhaha

  • The forced air system is nothing new, my 2001 bmw e39 has Automatic Recirculation Control (AUC) which does the same thing. "AUC automatic recirculated-air control/recirculated air mode can respond to unpleasant odors or pollutants in the immediate environment by temporarily suspending the supply of outside air. The system then recirculates the air currently within the vehicle. In AUC mode, a sensor detects pollutants in the outside air and controls the shut-off automatically. "

  • @toology55 Every car does what your bmw does. This M makes the air smell/feel like the one in the woods or on the side of the ocean…

  • I realize in the auto industry design and ideas are borrowed from one another. But truly when it comes to safety innovation Volvo is on top of it's game. Don't misunderstand my message, there are luxury brands equally as safe as Volvo cars, what I'm trying to say is for example the Blind Spot dection System in this Infinity, they arent "leaders" in safety like they're trying to make it seem.

  • @AccidentallyFunny who cares...this is a great car

  • @Onetazien If you want true luxury, you buy German. If you want a Nissan Maxima with chrome accents, borrowed safety features from other manufacturers, and a new coat of paint with an Infinity badge, you buy this car.

"who cares..." everyone does. Professionals and public alike. If you can't hold a discussion or debate, GTFO with your who cares comment..

  • @AccidentallyFunny Speak for yourself. Nissan make good cars. This Infinity is just as great as German cars...even better with the price. Fuck your down-talk..GTFO this video.

  • @Onetazien If you want to over-pay for a car thats your stupid perogative...ALL cars run on out-dated 18th century tech on 4 patches of rubber so quit with the borrowed tech BS..the more you pay for a car the dumber you are, in my book.

  • It's a bit contradicting of you to come here in defense of a $46,000 vehicle, then say it's "dumber" the more you pay for a car.

It's also different for an automaker to claim they invented the car. No one here has done that. However It's another story to blatantly rip off features and trumpet themselves as leaders in innovation as if they invented half the technology themselves. Give credit where it's due. In the luxury segment, Infiniti is a follower, not a leader. Put that in your book.

  • @AccidentallyFunny true luxury are you serious?... The new interior in the M makes most bmw interiors look like ford. They do look similar but do not actually share a single body panel, so you are wrong that this is a dressed up maxima. The M's are also rwd/awd, the maxima is only fwd. so maybe you should GTFO, European cars have been replaced by infiniti and lexus, for luxury and reliability. Consumer reports confirms this. K Thx Bye

  • @clarda1 k. and equally as much is recycled from the Nissan, let's not point out the obvious, and be completely oblivious to the rest of the facts. aaaand my opinion disagrees with yours about BMW / Infinity interiors. BUT if it's supple leather, and beautiful wood accents you're looking for, the 65 year old man inside of you may possibly prefer the offerings of Mercedes Benz, as they're world known for beautifully crafted interiors. Lexus is great, & millions laugh at consumer reports. Next ...

  • @AccidentallyFunny

I think you are deliberately funnny. BMW, Audi...what a joke; never know when it will die on you. Yea they look great. But...

I don't laugh at consumer reports...2011 BMW interior looks boring, just my opinion.

  • @CanadianIndian88 -my family has had BMW's since ive benn born and we only got a new one this year. not because it broke down, but becuase we wanted a newr car. none of the cars broke down at all. it ran beautifuly. im not sure abiut audi though..

  • @clarda1 too bad the mercedes s class is the best car u can buy

  • @clarda1,

Although consumer reports should NOT be perceived to be the one and all of consumer guidance, I don't have to read it to know that what you said is completely true! I love Infiniti and Lexus. I love Audi/BMW/Benz too, but I wouldn't ever buy them...only lease them. However, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Infiniti/Lexus.

  • @AccidentallyFunny

Atleast Nissan's are more reliable then a BMW, true story.

  • @CanadianIndian88 its obvious you drive a nissan. Nissans are good cars, bmws are made incredibly well. You simply cannot compare a Nissan vs. Bmw becuase it is not comparable. When the Nissan breaks down becuase most americans neglect there care the owner needs to pay for maintenance. With Bmw it will not break down, only neglect of maintenance will lead to a break down were bmw will cover all maintenance..

  • @rrange just under the warrenty period, that has nothing do with the car but the company it's self. I don't have ether but BMW and MB are not the most reliable cars they are nice but you will end up spending more money to maintain a BMW pretty much most European cars( i drive saabs and volvos) then the majority of their japanese and american counterparts

  • Volvo created this system from nothing. Now with stupid modification Infinity advertise itself as safety leader.

How many safety features the Japanese created??!!

    I think nothing.

  • Technology like this will make future drivers less skilled than when I started driving. They will become more reliant on the tech and less aware of whats going on.

  • Man, is it me, or is every new technology that comes out, simply aimed at old duffers that don't have their wife around to nag them anymore? No one to say: "Stay in your lane." or, "Don't follow so close." or, "My arm is too cold. Can't this car keep us comfortable?" and "Oh, Jeez, Harold! Did you do that? Lord open a window!"

  • The HVAC system is kinda cool.... I wonder if it can detect skunk early enough so it won't get in??

  • That "forced air system" is great with it's automatic change of air source (fresh or circulated air). It gets pretty annoying when I have to quickly reach for the fresh air button on my dash console every time I get a car in front with smelly or smokey exhaust and want to escape it. Certainly a feature I'd appreciate in a car.
