  • she has ...some.....talent, BUT----as far as this cover goes, i agree with the last 2 comments. This is a song that had a VERY understated kind of beauty (notwithstanding Neil Young's voice)... She has turned it into a very schlocky, night-clubby over done mess

  • Diane Birch did record a studio version of this cover for the movie "Multiple Sarcasms" but a soundtrack for the movie is not available on CD.

  • @oghoodz It's not on her album as she's only got one. She definitely does have a knack for covers. Look for her version of "Heavy Cross" on Youtube. It's incredible! She has also covered "Rich Girl", "What Is Love" and "You Don't Know How It Feels" on this tour.

  • 39 years ago I was a teenager listening to After The Gold Rush. Diane's reinterpretation of Birds is no less heartbreaking and in a new era most convincing. Would love to hear her sing Comin Back To Me from Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow!
