Let me get this straight. The taxpayers will loan money to the banks. But the taxpayers do not have the money. So we have to borrow it from the banks, in order to give it back to the banks. But the banks do not have the money to loan to the taxpayers. So they will have to create it out of thin air (through fractional reserve) and then loan it to the taxpayers, AT INTEREST, so we can then give it back to them.

The Fed prints billions of dollars every week, which is why economists and investors are getting rid of their US dollars because they know that it will collapse.

Within the past few years, gasoline prices have only risen by 20% if you don't include inflation. The dollar is becoming much more worthless every single day.

Some libertarians don't like Barr because he is not "radical" enough, but he shares the same ideals and views as other libertarians. Barr is just reasonable enough to put together a plan for downsizing the government. Other Libertarians I've heard just say "Lets make this program disappear." Ok, poof goodbye department of education. Bob lays out a plan that actually sounds reasonable to your average American while still retaining and explaining the principles involved. Give the man credit.

Well stated. For the LP to "play with the big dogs" and be taken seriously, they (we) have to have more realistic standings on positions. No, I'm not saying we have to sellout our principles, but we have to be prepared to make changes over time, rather than one magical swoop.

The LP party is the party of the future. They are the last remaining group who truly care about our founding principles, constitution, and rule of law. I'm voting LP this year.

I was just talking with someone today and they asked "How does the g'ment expect to ask the poor to bailout all these rich bankers?". My answer was simple. "They don't ask. They just put a gun to your head and force you to pay by raising taxes or devaluing the dollar."
