  • I so much remeber the nights riding around in the back of my mothers el camino with my girlfriend at the age of 12 listining to this song. It really takes me back and i so much wish my band could play this but not a chance. Thanks to the BEE GEES for such memmories.

  • Wow...simply amazing. This is one of my favorite Bee Gees songs ever!

  • I like their music better than Lady Gaga's. Don't you?

  • 4 People blamed it all on Broadway.

  • @spaggs64 lol

  • I grew up listening to the Bee Gees - this is a fantastic song and it sure has brought back many memories - many good ones. Thanks for sharing.

  • Get better, Robin.

  • jeeej so amazing voice

  • ... the greats gibb brothers ...

  • 4 idiots

  • I had to follow you, though you did not want me to. THAT WON'T STOP MY LOVIN' YOU.....

  • These guys where and continue to be remembered for being in the top 3 bands of all time. Just absolutely wonderful to hear and see them perform

  • I remember my older cousins playing this album and this song, I close my eyes and it brings me right back to a much simpler. This song touches my heart.

  • im so used to the shrills at the end of the song that this version feels bland

my highlight of the song are the shrills at the end THEY ARE AWESOME

  • talkin it up on the barry gibbs talk show

  • Love these guys, hope that Robin is OK..RIP MO and Andy you are missed..

  • I disagree with the description. This is THE BEST songwriting/harmonizing trio! :-)

    Thanks for posting.

  • right after Robin sings this part "well I had to follow you, though you did not want me too" and the three of them join up singing "but that won't stop my loving you..." and their voices rise higher and higher, man, this makes me quiver in excitement! God, they're amazing! This song totally rocks. Still today.

  • Amazing but the fake keys suck and the drummer didn't come close to the original track as far having that crazy, disco, on the back beat, live, 70s, heatwave type, drummer feel.

  • @ScrapMetalBomb

I have to agree with you on the drums...I think part of it is also that the tempo for this version is a bit quicker than the original...

  • @ScrapMetalBomb You are right about the drummer playing here not playing the back beat disco rhythm. And this drummer definitely pushed the tempo here. However, the drummer here did a great job. The song works uptempo and not emphasizing the disco rhythm ... in fact, the bridge here and the abrupt coda both work much better than the album version. Overall, this version is an improvement on the original recording. I'm sure they made the changes because they liked them.

  • @aaronhoffmeyer.... ya' works well with the drum fills

  • @aaronhoffmeyer You are certainly right, this is much better than the album version. What incredible talent these guys had and the accompany of artist that surround their music (background) wise.

  • 4 dislikes??? Must be tone deaf.

  • Great song by great singers and great musicians!

  • The Bee Gees are so awesome they can sing like girls and nobody says shit!!!!! They are talented with a capital T on roids!! There music will live on so long they will consider it classical music by then!!!

  • @verbod your not listening to what im listening too then

or maybe you have your daddys 1921 speakers plugged in...

or maybee your just another TROLL !!!

  • thank you ... so great to hear them doing this fantastic song!

  • I've loved them ever since I heard "Massachusetts"-- they were so different than all the other groups-- still are!

  • I started listing to them in the 60's ,, And to day i just love there music.

  • terrible sound? are you nuts ing! very funny. very few musicians have the talent they did. look back through the years and see that for the type of music they were making they were and always will be top shelf!

  • im a entertainer myself. it is REALLY hard to duplicate this sound. i can ALMOST but its very hard!!!

  • this is at the time I seen them. they were and always will be awesome. R.I.P. Maurice

  • TO MANY TRAGEDY IN THIS FAMILY??? GOD BLESS THEM,,,,

  • This is when performing artists really had to know how to sing.

  • great performance, terrible sound

  • wow ,wow and wow.talent galore.and good looking too!!!

  • Not to be debbie downer BUT why do great songs not sound so great years after a bands peak years ? this sounds to calculated and souless and way to keyboard 1980`s. for my taste this is by the numbers by this junkture they jumped the shark. like Metallica plays master of puppet era songs now or the Stones playing songs from let it bleed. is it as simple as being older and rich ? i saw judas priest as a kid in 1982 and it was violent, vulgar and satanic. than i saw them in 2009 and it was.safe.

  • @bosoxyaz8 maybe sounds calculated and soulless to you...not to me. It's one of my favorites, and always will be.

  • @Katsem im talking about this version not the great original. hey its just my stupid opinion. peace.

  • I loved Maurice so much - he was the best :-) will never forget him......

  • those were the good ol"days nodoubt, Let's awaken from our slumber now

  • one of my favorite after all these years.

  • they took the Disco rhythm out of it..dislike

  • @friscosgreatest animal....this song was never EVER DISCO...just one of their great pop songs..thts all. their disco was great, as well as their pop songs...have u heard WORLD?

  • Wed, 16 Feb 2011: The Bee Gees is my all time favorite English music group. I have 17 vinyl albums on the brothers Gibb. If anyone listens to their songs from the early 70's, people will know they are much more than a disco band. I am a writer and I plan to dedicate the titles of my stores to the Bee Gees. nkd

  • one of the very best songs from the bee gees!

  • These guys put every boy band of the last 20 years to absolute shame.

  • the original boy band

  • Gotta love them Gibb brothers, RIP Andy and Maurice, we miss you 4ever, gone but never forgotten. I do listen to tem for hours, love them!

  • time have passed and the beegees may have passed too but the essence of their song will stay

  • I think we sometimes forget just how awesome these guys really were until we listen and watch a video such as this one. Extraordinary talent indeed. This has always been my personal favorite song of theirs. My hat goes off for them.

  • the drummer eats this song up! Really slam bang version here....awesome! LochRaven62, thanks for the post!

  • if you carefully analyze the career of the BEE GEES, you come to the conclusion that when it comes to POPULAR CULTURE perfection...they easy are right there with THE BEATLES....

  • how the hell can they harmonize like that?!

    that's sick !!!

  • @Aeon1988 genius huh....!

  • @Aeon1988 they could do do it without any music from a young age...can't find that kind of talent anymore

  • Anyone know where to get the full acoustic version they did?

  • listen to the applause right after the end of the song..they brough the house down....

  • Thanks poster It's people like your that give us great memories

    w/ HQ & HD!

    Thanks:)

  • The Guys at their BEST ... what a flawless performance ... RIP Maurice (and Andy too)... you are missed ...

  • @raiderdanCA Just curious, whom did you mean by Andy?

  • @bulgogi1212 ... I was referring to their younger brother Andy, who had such a great career on his own ... then spent more and more time performing with the older three, before his untimely death.

  • @raiderdanCA I didn't know thank you. What awesome talent this family has

  • My absolute favorite Bee Gees song! classic!! ;^)

  • No high falsetto from Maurice? What the hell? That made this song. Awww shucks...still one of my favorite BG songs.

  • my favorite= then heaven

  • Fantastic apart from the awful drumming. :P

  • @kylehudson00 Yes, Phil Collins should have been there .

  • @tianobrothers ...ya right......maybe as a roadie lol

  • @kylehudson00 Agreed...that is terrible. Too bad it had to mess up this great occasion.

  • @kylehudson00 hey kyle..what do you think is wrong with the drumming? i am curious, cause i love this performance but i hear nothing wrong with the drums...so let me know your opinion..thanks.

  • couldnt say it better myself Loch.. they are great.

  • Nothing like it. Thanks!

  • Perfection in its element.

  • Still causes goose bumps. Great.

  • look at robin singing 3:10-3:11....so freaking flawlessly. i am so high and this is blasting and the sounds could not be more perfect.....! 3 geniouses.....

  • @elsoda - know what you mean!

  • fucking CLASS ACT.....

  • A cracking good tune. I always liked the way the Aussies gave the lads from England the warmest of welcomes - that's Australia at it's very best.

  • its a tight jeans party

  • Does anyone know What was the reason for for the speaker next to the singer's ear?

  • He is using the speaker rather than a floor monitor. When playing live, you use ear monitors, floor monitors or something similiar. The reason is when playing live, the music on stage sounds different from what the audience is hearing. The audience is hearing the music from the mixing board. We use the monitors to help with keeping harmonies, staying in time and keeping in tune along with other things. Hope this helped.

  • i dont know who the heck you were talking to but thanks for the great info! pretty amazing stuff about how is all done so perfectly....

  • Later versions of this song leave out the

disco wah-wah sound of the 70s

  • My co-favorite Bee Gees song along with "You Win Again."

  • couldn't agree more

  • OMG!! This is so funky......we are before geniuoses

  • geniouses...and CLASS ACT.

  • The disco craze and subsequent spiraling downfall kind of made the Bee Gees a taboo joke for a while there in the 80's... But they persevered and IMHO they are one of the most talented and just flat out excellent pop groups in history... RIP MG. Great song....

  • This song will forever be linked to that Jimmy Fallon SNL skit, "The Barry Gibb Talk Show".

  • One of the reasons I love that Jimmy Fallon bit is this song is so good. And J Timberlake is perfect as Robin... "talkin bout politics, and the issues of the day..." The song gets the SNL crowd goin from note one..

  • Maurice had one of the sexiest cabooses in the business - RIP my English God :)

  • One of the BeSt songs ever - period!!!!!!!

God Love the Bee Gees - so sexy so awesome - so incredible - can't wait to get my USB Phonograph so I can spin this record :) Love to the Bee Gees - RIP Maurice :) Love ya Barry and Robin :)
