What wheels and tires were you using on the pede 4x4? I like them!! I may get them for my pede 4x4. I am doing a E-maxx V-Twin build and I hope I get even 1.5 times the power you got with yours! :) I will be running a total of 4s though. Anyways, I would be interested to see some V-Twin videos from an E-maxx and also a Summit. Now I have a side question, What gearing should I go for in the E-maxx V-Twin? I have a 68 spur and 2 19t pinions from previous trucks, but I don't know how those will run

you should try with a assortment of nitro trucks. i.e t-maxx, or Baja 5t. some nitro would be sick on there

concerning only power, how do you think the twin vxl in the summit compared to what im sure is a MM system in the erevo? I heard that unless you got metal driveline hopups, you cant open up the mamba more than 50% power lest you risk blowin a shaft. if this is true, im sure that this overpowering handicaps the mamba and sets it at the level of the twin-V

The twin vxls in the summit work great and are waterproof as well. However the Mamba is still the king of the hill for 1/10th scale (and 1/8th scale) as long as you don't need it to be waterproof. the reason you have heard that the mamba destroys drivetrains is because poeple don't know how to drive. with a little throttle mgmt the mamba works great on 6S. most people just slam on full power... that's like reving the engine in your real car and then shoving it into 4th gear from a stop.lol.

lol. The 5T would be unfair because it could easily pull the whole weight sled as far as it wanted to. It is MUCH too big for this sled. :)

Sure. I break parts all the time. That's part of the fun. :)  You can also get metal CVDs and other parts to help control the breakage.

if I saw the results correct your saying the. e revo  did better than the e maxx the maxx trucks were made for that kind of stuff the. e revo does have a $200 advantage so it's fair I guess but great vid I like all your vids

The real advantage was weight according to my tests. If you look at the graphs at the end, the heaviest trucks pulled best. but the Erevo only did a bit better than the Emaxx so they were actually fairly close.

Great video! Looks like the Revo had enough at the end. Geez, my E-Maxx 3908 weights in at 13 lbs with a roll cage. It's about as heavy as your Summit. :D

I use Sony Vegas Pro 10. It's pretty expensive because it's a pro level editor. But you can get Sony Vegas movie studio platinum for under $100 and it has almost all the same features as pro. I used movie studio to make these vids for 2 years before finally breaking down and buying pro. :)

If it's really dirty, then the best way is to just remove the motor and ESC and then hose it down. Those are the only parts that aren't waterproof. let it dry then put them back on. If you don't want to do that, then you will need about 3 hours with a rag and some cleaner. :))

the jerk was intentional. Notice I didn't do it with the summit? The sled was almost too big for the smaller trucks. If I didn't jerk to get it started, they would just sit there and spin and dig into the ground with all 4 tires. lol. The summit is a total beast. It pulled it all the way out the door, even when the weight box was hitting the front and the tires were sliding. I finally just stopped because it would have kept pulling it. :)

I doubt it, considering that the SUMMIT has T-locks and is really even oversized for 1/8th scale and is probably closer to 1/7th scale. With the twin VXLs (or a mamba monster) it's pretty unstoppable.
