lol... well he was snappy when we got him.. you just have to get his wings clipped and take him outside somewhere safe, and elliotte was so bewildered he didnt notice too much i was slowly getting closer and putting my hand closer to pet him.

he eventually (after a few days of half an hour outside or so) let me pet him and hold him.

just spend time with your bird, speak to it and get it used to you.

get to understand its body language and dont pressure it into doing things. if it bites dont be scared, take it and then walk away and try again..

also make sure its quiet around the bird when your trying to make friends with it otherwise there is too many distractions and it will never learn.

Wow. This video makes me realize something that I never thought of before. If I had a parrot that made certain sounds/noises, I would have to get rid of that parrot. That is unless there was a way to make the bird stop making those noices.
