FF7 Alexander Walkthrough

Lol took you 7 years to get Alexander?. I got 3 master magics, 1 master summon, and 1 master command, all i got to do is beat that fucker Ruby weapon. BTW in one of the caves there is an eixiler and when you get it you can walk while having the message saying you have got the item, dont get off this message leave the cave and re-enter. You keep that item while it remains on the ground still. Repeat untill Max. Or you can use the W-item glitch. Alexander is my favorite summon.

I Have played final fantasy 7 to its fullest but theres only one thing i cant do i cannot beat EMERALD AND RUBY...i can get Ultima easy but i cant get those other two any tips Anyone?

@TheDextruction only real tips i can offer is for ruby use dazers and KO two members of the party until his arms are in the ground then revive them prevents him removing someone from battle completely. other than this abuse the lucky 7's with something like omnislash / meteor rain or barrets urgamax (angermax).

(easiest way to get lucky 7's is to get your health to any number lower than 7777 that ends in 77 then use potions to top them up to 7777)

@TheDextruction with EMERALD WEAPON, for some reason, if you receive its most powerful attack with 9 or most materias equipped, you damage is 9999, if you have 4 materias your damage is 4444, i recommend w-summon + knights of round and then use mime, then you use knights of round 4 times

@TheDextruction Emerald weapon is kindy easy, have equipped w-summon materia with mastered knights of the round, have cloud learn omnislash, keep casting haste and Mbarrier to the party, use the w-item trick to have infinite mega elixiers, you can also equip phoenix summon to revive you when defeated, follow this and you'll beat it in no time, if you want some extra info just ask, good luck!

as long as Ive had this game Ive never gotten alexander. I decided to try this time and Ive been at it for a while now. This is the only thing thats accurate enough to help me get there. Kudos!!

I have done EVERYTHING in FF7 short of Alexander materia. I have tried time and again but I end up getting frustrated and feel like i'm wasting my time so I just get the fucking master materia instead.

@weiselwitz yup just get in the highwind or get on to the right chocobo and you can re-enter. #1 from the town (doing the snowboarding again) or #2 with a mountain chocobo+ you can enter by going around the town to the bottom of the hill behind it.

@Pandem9 Where you are at the moment if fine just avoid going into the northern crater as the "point of no return" is in there,

As for the wrong person being in the cave try touching the hot spring again and repeating the method,

she won't be effected if you take too long or fainted (will happen 70% of the time when you first get to this location)

you need to make sure that you have been to the hot springs and touched the water, if you take too long after touching the water your hands will go cold again and she wont fight you

you can either get there using the snowboard as i did,

or if you have a mountain chocobo or higher you can enter the great glacier bygoing down the hill behind the town.

howdey uh most probably your hand / finger / whatever has gone cold since you touched the hotspring go back to the hot spring and touch it again then do the same as before

Actually is the ONLY Holy element in the game.

Interesting fact is the Minerva Band protects against Holy, but there is no enemy that does Holy damage! Neglected?

they neglected many elements including water and wind.

Well there are attacks like Aqualung and that wave attack (water) Acrophies does, also Aero 3 (no 2 or 1? o.o) and Whirlwind (wind). But there is absolutely no Holy attack from enemies! I am supposing they used the word "Holy" for the plot so they couldn't use it as a Magic move. But then again they could use Dia or Pearl Magic moves from the earlier FF games.

Cure magic is mainly for cure, it is not elemental like Holy. Holy can also damage all kinds of enemies and deal more damage to Dark elemental enemies even they are not undead.

I never said Aero was Holy elemental.

There is simply NO Holy in FF7 (the name was used in the plot like Meteor (but there is a meteorite magic called Comet)).

Play Final Fantasy 8 and get the Holy magic. You'll see what I mean.

hmmm now theres a problem .... if you press select i think it is you can bring up a map of the area just look for the closest lankmark and then follow paths in the general direction of the hot spring

nope that is the battle music from trinity blood (an anime).

but as i said run around till you find a noticeable landmark (such as the lake etc) and find your way from there.

OR! once you faint / get frozen and go to the cabin come out go down away from the mountain and your be at the ice field landmark (big wide area) then walk straight forward from where you start your end up leaving the area from the downward path (toward the hotsprings)
