Well i read all ur commens. One thing i wanted 2 say. its all personal choice. Like me i like old songs. not only in oriya but also in hindi songs. I dont like these days songs. moreover im not in touch with the oriya fims or songs. So cant comment about it. But yes.. there was somthng origional those days despite of the fact that there was lack of techlogical instuments and faciliies tht we'v today. But for me old is gold. And bahut bahut dhanyabad for posting such golden song.
install real player. available for free download from google-pack. then you will see an automatic popup saying download just over the right top corner of this video, when you hover the mouse on it. hope it helps.
Ignorant fool, wake up. This song is a 1967 film, one carries real music. There is so much Oriyatwa in these songs from the golden era than today's farce - mostly monkey dancing from south and hindi movies.
prabhatb!! Don't you think you should read properly somebody's comments before posting your stupid reply. Read my comment again with your both eyes open, then you would know who is the ignorant here. And if you still can't understand what I was trying to say, then do yourself a favour and never ever post a reply on youtube again. Because you would be making a big fool of yourself AGAIN.
Is there something to read between lines? What time you are comparing to? Have you seen Bengali movies from that time? This song is quite at par with them.
Ok.You still didn't get what I was trying to say.I wanted to say that, in 60s we used to have so beautiful Oriya movie songs, this song being an example. And after hearing this beautiful song,I am feeling sad about why today's Oriya movie songs are so rubbish, vulgar, cheap. That's why I said "I was sad". I am a big fan of old Oriya movies, not because they were at par with Bengali movies or Hindi movies or anything, but only because they were really good movies, which reflected our Oriya culture.
And I was kinda pissed off, because you started your reply with "ignorant fool". Don't you think that is an absolutely wrong way to address somebody who is just posting his opinion without being abusive even if he/she opposes you (I wasn't actually)? Please refrain from such practice. You should refute somebody else's opinion with logic and your point without being abusive.
No words to express this beautiful song!!!! Isn't it Lata Mangeshkar. A very poignant song and well shot. Long live the memory of Late Dhiren Patnaik for being a visionary and producing a movie much ahead of its time.
since my student days , I have been listening to the song of ARUNDHATI , each time bewitched ! Thanks , Shivabhai . SHAKTI

Install youtube downloader and then download the song. It's so easy. You can even turn the video into mp3 format.

Yes,this song is sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
They don't make movies or songs like this anymore in any language. All that we have now in most cases is a corruption of the swaras.

It feels kinda sad to hear this song and then think why Oriya music didn't match up with time. Thanks for sharing this beautiful song.
