It's a canter, it's a gallop! Chill out people, you don't have to be so technical! All of you arguing over it are pathetic, jeez. Also people have a choice to wear a helmet or not. Some people do and some don't, so don't get your panties in a bunch because all of you people out there who wear helmets flip the fuck out because someone doesn't wear a helmet! It's their OWN choice! They know the risk so let them do what they want to do!

Who cares if he's just cantering?! This a really nice video the horse looks so content and the boys looks like a good rider! Just look at his hands, they are so soft which is essential considering this horse has a tom thumb bit. This is a great of example of horse and rider companionship. :)

You can tell it's a gallop because all four feet are off the ground at the same time

@Cycatify All four feet are off the ground in trot, canter and gallop. You can tell if he's galloping if each foot touches the ground seperately, in canter, it's a three step gait e.g. back left, then back right and front left together and then front right :)

@Ponypower171 believe it or not if you have had a horse for years you wont need a helmet. I know a true cowboy who can ride his horse without a helmet. I also watched him ride his horse without a saddle and reins, just a lead rope and sitting on its back.

see the way his body is moving, thats how your body moves in a canter, and in a canter there is a bit where all four legs are off the ground, but its more noticible in a gallop
