i made alot of custom maps that were just mazzes and 1 thing about your map is you need to put it all on 1 line. like there are 3 paths on the ground make a wall that blocks the 2 back lines so your forced to fight enimes's take paths and what not. other than that yea kill effects on the monsters

wat i do for the boxes is i put second bottom in the box other than the one thats already there, i but a piston in between the two, but source bubbles inside, (on top of the second bottom) and i hook the button up to the piston, so when i jump on the button it springs the source bubbles out... :P that probably made no sense :P

How did you make the blocks disappear when you hit them, and the question mark blocks that give you items? Like at 0:22. Are all the colors and textures you used included within the game? And what pushed you through the pipe at 3:56? I love this recreation, for I think it is just right. Great work!

I used dissolve material for the blocks and attached a proximity switch to make them disappear, similarly I used an emitter with a switch to spawn the items when I hit the blocks. And for the pipe i had a piston push sackboy across a glass floor in the pipe.
