  • I hope to hear from you soon. I am starting P2 today and will take a break on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 and then right back on the diet. New Year's willl not be a problem. Only Christmas with my girls coming home so I will do the best I can. Pray for me to stay true to the diet. I would love to talk to you via phone. Let me know. C

  • Hey Girl... I am beyond P3 and have finished up my competition season. I have my HHCG progress pics and Competition pics. But the experiment continues. You can read about it on the site. The next competition season begins for me in Cleveland OH March 20 NPC Natural we will see how the my set point and BF% holds. You have my email send me your email and I will forward the pics.     I'm no longer on the hCG Diet. It just doesn't support what I want to accomplish for my body and my mind...I am on my way to a meeting that may likely change my life dramatically.

  • I agree about the exercise as I have never stopped with my personal trainer I have been using for 7 years so my body was use to this. I admist the VLCD made it harder to do but I am in a good place with the exercise now. You are so RIGHT!!!

  • Hey Honey! I feel so bad that I haven't been around lately. I'm just focusing on my Curvy Goddess Lounge a little more and writing more articles on my site. And getting more work as a personal trainer. The YouTube gang have seemed to find there way to Facebook this past week. I've been getting alot of friend requests. Do you have a Facebook account?

  • I agree with you about the diet and the time it was created. It is so similar to Atkins and I just wonder how far off it is really from Adkins? On Adkins you DO NOT count calories and I have found that to be a flaw. I think counting calories makes a huge difference on eating high protein might make this work too along with the HCG shots.....what are your thoughts on this? Cloma

  • Diane, I understand where you are. I can't wait to get back in the gym, walk, run or something. I am in my 50's and though I didn't lose a lot of weight exercising regularly, I was very toned and no cottage cheessy thighs. I am on R1P2 of the protocol and have lost 20 pounds in 23 days (including load days). I am 20 more days to go . . . so I'm sending you true goddess energy and power so that you may tap into it anytime you need to remember who you are! Powerful Lady

  • diane have you tried the whole body vibration machines??? i just do streaches on it and it seems to help with the weight loss??? any way it makes me feel really gooooood your lookin goood marsh

  • Yes. I have tired the vibration machines. It is supposed to be great for weight loss!

  • Yes. I'm not sure what it will do to me it may slow down my weight loss but who cares. The resistance training that I do gives you smooth thighs and a tight butt. None of my clients have cottage cheesy thighs even at the age of 50 and 60 something if they have seen me on a regular basis for at least 9 months. I'm talking about women who have had the cellulite and now they don't. They are always amazed but it works.

  • It will be interesting see your progress with exercise, I guess it is a great idea.

  • We will see. I am curious too. If this works then this will be huge! I've always had problems with weight loss bc my diet always sucked from the food addiction but I could run circles around 20 y/o because my fitness level has been relatively high. I will post videos of me in the fitness studio with samples of my workouts not for you to follow but just to get a feel of what my workouts are like and to see more of me in full body. I'm excited!

    Since you have been doing exercise for SO many years, doing it in Phase 2 won't be near what it would be on one of us "sofa potatoes." LOL

  • Oh thank you. That's good to know. I'm building right now and boy there is so much to learn but I'm learning. No wonder web marketing consultants get paid so much. It's because there is so much to learn. It's a highly specialized field.

  • I like the point you made at 1:29 about the protocol being created/developed in the 1950s and how people were more active then than now in the present. I have thought that for some time and even tried doing the HIIT a couple of weeks ago but stopped after gaining almost 2 lbs. But who knows what would have happened if I would have continued for a while? I'll keep up with your progress and then gauge what I do by that. It just seems like I should be working out! 8-}

  • Thanks for the acknowledgment. I have not trained as intensely and consistently in the past year because of the protocol. I have definitely shrank but my body is not as sculpted looking and as firm as it was when I was heavily into the training. For the High Intensity Interval Training you're really not supposed to monitor your weight as neurotically as when you are on hCG or on another diet. You will get amazing results but monitor using bodyfat testing and circumference measurements monthly.

  • Thank you. This will be a most interesting Round and I will have to monitor using bodyfat and circumference measurement rather than weight and show you my body on a weekly basis via video. I will choose Sunday.

  • You go girl! Do what your body is telling you to do, and if that is working out--then do it. I have heard people say that when they worked out, towards the end of the day they got super hungry, but every body is different, so good luck!

  • I can see that. We'll see what happens with me. I just got done with a workout. It was an hour long and my appetite is suppressed. I had an iced coffee and an apple so far.
