  • Extremely fabulous, Master of not only Qwali of his era & even today, in fact AZIZ MIAN was a great philosopher, thinker, theorist, poet, scholar, intellectual and the best of ll these AASHiQ- E- RASOOL(PBUH), I can not express my feelings and don't know why he had not been projected by the media of that time? Not even today when it is claimed that MEDIA IS AZAD????

    SAEEDULLAH, Tarbela Ghazi.

Jannat ko jannat banane keliye aazmaya gaya.

    Haa isi liye aazmaya gaya.

Aasman se nahe utara jata to insan ke aazmaish kaise hote.

Agar adam na hota to koi aur dam hota aur woh uska khuda hota.

yeh bhed saray dum ka hay,

  • some people eat grapes - others prefer a more concentrated form - maybe they like eating raisins or drinking grape juice. these are all good ways of being nourished, and will do no harm. however some people enjoy the wine derived from grapes - why? because it is intoxicating - it changes the consciousness. this is only a metaphor. i am not advocating drunkenness. the sufis are mystics who experience god like a person who drinks wine. they only see god as love and bliss. they don't need rules.

  • @theinkbrain Thats why they are "Jahanami's"

  • no words...

  • आसमान से उतारा गया......Beautiful!

  • yes this dum is related to THE hum dum, and its not actually wahdatul wajood, wahdatul wajood says iam HIM but here it shows within me YOU are the main but I still remain,

  • I cannot figure out what he actually means when he says 'yeh dam bhi USEE hum-dam ka hay'. Is it 'Wahda-tul-Wujood'. Any suggestions??????

  • Maashaa Allah.. This Rendition, much in the tradition of many great Sufi poets, invites discussion on aspects of our existence. Poetry is a beautiful thing. I believe the very essence of Allah SWT is poetry... and if that is even remotely a possibility, Janab Aziz Mian is an unmatched vessel bringing us closer to the essence of the divine.. May Allah Taala grant him an esteemed position in Jannatul Firdosh.

  • .

    WoW!

Every word has a very very deep meaning..

  • yo my dad always used to play this joint when i was a shorty. and it was my favorite phrase i actually got it tatted on the left side of my chest(aasman se utara gay)in urdu of course. this is like my favorite eva yo. its a classic

  • It doesnt matter if he got this tatooed, it obviously meant alot to him.

There is no specific statement in the quran prohibiting tattoos, why do people feel the need to turn everything into a religious debate?!

  • Not in the Qur'an but in the hadith it is. I was just asking him how he could do that? But, really, listen to the lyrics of this song. Listen to what this man is singing. He is singing about our origin and our destination. Now the path is well known to those who seek it. I'm pretty sure tattoos are not included but Allah knows best.

  • @MCJustiz Yes but you can't bend the rules. You can't leave marks like that on your body. It's a little more general.

  • @illezTKicko hahaha Fag. You got "gay" tatooed on your chest.

  • zindagi day kay mara gaya.............wonderful. thanks for uploading. very good tate of sama u have.

  • subhanallah understanding is the key u lost ones

i cant see no fire !!

    and u are a freak !!

  • he was a brilliant qawwal.......nd whoever say bad words abuh him........EAT DUNG.......

  • I wish i could understand his passionate words. people seems to feel strong emotions hearing him. and the music is beautiful, too.

  • hello, u are right; he weaves words like it is nothing.

  • i shall hazzard a guess; but here, he says......'worried, i hope my ashes do not become me heart...'

  • Absolute brillient

  • Hewas a great Qawal.people who using bad words for him i think they are not human i think mianer used other people qawalies his qawali singing style always different than others plz listen him carefully your soul will awakeup i dont know about others but i like him.i like his when he say Adam in this Qawali Allah give u peace in janet Ameen

  • Yaara those ppl talk shit abt Aziz Mian is because they are all haters of The Household of Prophet Muhammad(sawaw) and because Aziz Mian was a Qawwal of Ahlybait(as) E Rasool(sawaw). Its that simple.

  • rafiq , ur one shit divider bastard shia, no muslim hates prophet(pbuh) and his family. people like you are no less then munafiq. dividing muslims. i am ready to shed my sunni label and just be muslim. can you shed ur shit shia label... look who is better muslim here.

  • vah!!!....totally brilliant........

  • Another masterpiece work of Legend Aziz Mian!

  • i'm only 17 and i have not heard many of his qwaali's but the ones that i have heard i have enjoyed. tehy have a strong meaning behind them. i have a fairly good understanding of what he says in his qwaali. i have met aziz mian when i was only 4 at that tym didn't knw who he was. wish had the chance to meet him again but can't. may allah make a place for him in jaanat. Ameen

    thank you for uploading!

  • the songs basic meaning is, "what ever happens is meant to be"

  • real thought provoking words, thanks for posting,i had heard his name but never had appreciated him before. wow , look at his education...real gem of a person.

  • i think he was man

  • Those People who just talk S**** and say bad things about him. Shame for them. They don't know anything about him and just think that he is qawal who just used to eat PAN.

He had MS degrees in Arabic, Persian, Persian Literature, Urdu Literature and History. He was also a Writer, Philospher and Scholar.

He was not a normal person as peolpe see him.

  • Yaara those ppl talk shit abt Aziz Mian is because they are all haters of The Household of Prophet Muhammad(sawaw) and because Aziz Mian was a Qawwal of Ahlybait(as) E Rasool(sawaw). Its that simple.

  • The essence of this song is the primacy of man, the individual. God is secondary, if at all, there is any such entity.

Even if the shadow of death remains, life, like the colours of flowers or the softness of butterfly's wings. let us enjoy and think about death, and connection with god later.

  • @dalitrakshak

i wonder if the subtle message here is that we should focus on joy while we are still alive - because to experience that which is divine is to experience joy. if we even experience our suffering as a form of joy, then death and even hell will be powerless to harm us. we should experience life and love for their own sakes and not live in fear of the hereafter.... this is what divine means...

    maybe i'm wrong...

but i think that the chief message is only about love... nothing more.
