@coltlovex Because the Armed Forces are under control of the Government, and unless politicians happen to be ex-military (Ian Duncan Smith, Paddy Ashdown, Churchill etc) you can never, EVER trust politicans with the Armed Forces.

There are some things I admire about David Cameron, but I would gladly thump him over what he has done to the Armed Forces.

@cheeseburger04 Hey, thanks for the comment, but I believe both types of naval gun (the MOD 0 and MOD 1 - aka the "Kryten Gun") shown in this video are types of 4.5 inch Mk 8 Naval Guns, designed and built by in the UK. I do agree with your NATO comment though!

I disagree with the military ratings in the description. Yes they may be larger (i agree with the USA) but we know that China's still behind on naval power, Russian tech is still based on the 1990's (see the georgian crysis) and india, well their tech is still behind ours. I would say that the UK is roughly on par based on these trade offs (not including nuclear warheads) with Russia and above India, not too sure on China though.

@Pringles352 The chopper at 0:12 is a British Army Gazelle. Again at 0:42 you can see British Army Gazelle's and some British Army Lynx on the right. The carrier is most likely Ocean or one of the Invincible classes. All the footage you referred to is from official Royal Navy and British Army videos available at their official websites, so they are most definitely British. ;-)

@Pringles352 The carrier you see at 0.42 is our Helicopter assault carrier. That aircraft carrier is only designed for choppers but can support jump-jets if need be. Hope that answers your question mate. Also a lot of the equipment the US own wasn't all built by themselves you know all armies use each others technology. Your Abram Armour is designed by the British. Since you guys have put the Challenger armour on your tanks you have lost 0 tanks to an rpg attack.
