Firefox is a great browser, however chrome works best for me still. It takes quite a while for firefox to startup on my laptop, and not only my current laptop, my previous ones had problems starting up firefox within seconds as well..

@AnitoPictures i have I.E.9, firefox, and chrome, and i used all three of them. i used chrome first, but i downloaded firefox and ,for me it was faster, and when i had chrome my computer didnt have any problems, and same thing with firefox. do u have a lot of memory used up in ur computer? that could be a reasom for ur crashes

@jorgelopez0911 IE is terrible! It takes 10 minutes to load my homepage. At least on my computer. Chrome Is awesome, but there has been some problems with it, i fixed mine, i have no idea how o.o. I would recommend Firefox for your comp, unless its too slow.

I've tried all the big ones but have settled on Pale Moon which is terrific. It's basically a tweaked version of Firefox, so it's faster. All plug-ins etc work, and it's stable. If you like Firefox, you'll love this.

IE 7 -- bad rendering, different enough from IE6 to require extra code

IE 8 -- 98% standards compliant, 2% buggy

IE 9 -- terrible UI... what is this I don't even...

The IE browsers are decently secure if you install your Windows updates, however. (And of course, if it's no longer supported, it won't get any updates.)
