  • Looks like a legitimate scene in a Grand Theft Auto Movie :P

  • looks way better in red

  • Shit i can barely put the screen protector on my iphone.

  • These idiots forgot the wheels! LOL

  • @Pwon1992 Lmao

  • Any idea how long it can last?

  • @reventonmurcielago Creative FX guarantee their wraps to last up to 8 years, depending on the car and vinyl used

  • Carbon3m_fx@hotmail.com ou Carbon Fx Facebook

  • How can I get them to do this to my Ferrari F430??

  • @matthiasprime23 Just give them a call: 020 313 1146

  • how do you guys not fuck up? i cant even put a screen protector on the iphone without any bubbles, and an iphone screen is so much smaller than a car

  • This is NOT matte black, its definitely satin black (and yes there is a difference). Nice video though.

  • How many squares of vinyl you need for that car?

  • amazing!! beautiful ferrari!

i work with wraping for 3 years in Brazil! really got a good quality of work.

    pablomar33@gmail.com

  • I did the same thing more than 6 times

  • What happens when it rains...Or if it's a really hot day, wouldn't it come off?

  • Best wrapping vid ive seen. good on ya for taking the car apart to give the customer such a thorough piece of work back

  • all it needs now after the beautiful vinyl work are a nice set of black ferrari wheels

  • Best thing about the product when you remove it,no glue and little clean up now your car has it nice paint job back.Im an instraller in Sarasota,FL been doin it for about 8-9 years.Formal clothes always, its shows the other person just how BADASS of an installer you are.No tanktops here.Great team work.

  • What brand Vinyl are you using Oracal, 3m, etc? Is that a matte black or satin black?

    Great work!

  • Why don't you use soapy water to make installation easier? it takes like a day to dry you just spray a bit at the surface and the polyvinyl remove the excess after locating the material on place with the squiggly then use the hot gun ... isn't it like installing polarized paper for windows? seams like a lot harder with your way.

  • Would this process be difficult doing myself at home with all the same tools they use? The only question I might have is do they overlap the vinyl over each other on certain areas or not? Would you see where the two sides meet or not?

  • this is what you get when you pay top dollar for this kind of stuff, a guy going through all the cracks and crevices with an xacto knife... lol you'll never see that in another shop.

  • bom eu ja colocaria algums detalhes em carbono , como retrovisores tampa do motor , entre outros acesorios , mais fico linda parabéns ai para a galera

  • "hey i got a great idea!"

    "whats that?"

"lets cover up a $5,000 paint job with a sticker!"

    "brilliant"

  • @TheDJrestless

I don't get it either, I mean,... it looks good, but it feels incredibly wrong. Why not doing an actual paint job instead of the sticker job? I wonder how long the sticker lasts, and if the paint underneath would be in perfect shape if you remove the sticker like 3 years later or something?

  • @Usethebanana High end cars have higher resale value with the original paint. The vinyl tends to protect to paint if the car will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. When it comes time to sell the vinyl might add to the value if the buyer likes the color, and having the option to go right back to the original unmolested factory paint is a big plus.

  • @andyk13089

Good point, didn't consider resale value.

Still, I wonder if the glue from the stickerjob wouldn't damage the original paint if stuck on for several years or have any other effects.

  • very nice!

  • une peinture mat complete reviens moin chere

  • am i the only one that thinks a Ferrari should be red or it just does not look right?

  • so what is the point of the wrap on a ferrari? the paint probably cost around 20 grand,i get it it is to protect the paint but the wrap is not going to look as nice as the paint on the car? so you want to protect that paint from the enviroment but you not going to show off a car that is worth 150k,so i think the point is to protect a beautiful car without showing its true potential right? don't get me wrong what this guys are doing a work of art good job guys.

  • Dear Santa...

  • Would taking off the Vinyl film ruin the original paint?

  • that looks terrible, that should never be done to a ferrari f430 spider

  • a Ferrari in tights? what else... a jockstrap maybe?

  • looks sooooooo, theres not a word good enough!!! maybe i shud make one up............... awesickmaniaraze. nice work!!!!

  • deve ser um playboy em.... rs mais fico daora

  • this is straight dope

  • hell yeah

  • dis like an orgasm.. LOL lskjdla so hot.

  • how much does it cost for the vinyl to be professionally installed?

  • @TheFlakeBob Creative FX wraps cost anywhere from £250 to £2000 (for the vinyl and installation), depending on the car and vinyl used. It cost around £1800 for this one, but matt black is one of the more expensive wraps and Ferraris and other supercars cost a bit more than a normal car, because of the intricate detailing.

  • @RoninMarketing so you're telling him that you're less carefull with cars that aint super?

  • this vid needs sound, its earie

  • approx. how many hours did this take?

  • @jordan2921 About 10 hours

  • @RoninMarketing 3 days

  • would wrapping a car who's paint isn't in great shape be a bad idea. I have a 69 corvette that needs paint bad, but I'd rather just wrap it.

  • @jeffzahnd Fitting over bad paint is not the best idea but it can be done, though it will only look as good as the paint underneath. The best thing to do would be to go and see Creative FX with the car and they can advise. To arrange to see them email info@fxuk.net or call on +44 20 8313 1146. Hope that helps!

  • Buying a ferrari buy u don't want to spend money on a paintjob... what a world...

  • Makes me want to buy a new car and do it. Then drive around with a sharpie and draw all over my new ferrari

  • What happends if you get a stone chip? would it breakthrough the skin? how would you fix it?

    Thanks.

    I'm loving the effect.

  • @markbeermonster Vinyl will protect your car to a certain extent against stones, but it is not a stone protection film. CFX do offer a stone protection film that guarantees to protect the original paintwork against stone chips, which you can have applied over the top of your wrap or instead of. Or if the vinyl of a wrapped car was damaged by stones they can replace just the panel that is damaged.

  • I know some guys that do this but their work looks like shit and they charge 5000 dollars to wrap a porsche

  • that is.. beautiful...

  • i hate seeing people working with formal clothes

  • any chance to go abroad ? :))

  • Bv,Bv,Bv,foarte bine e pusa....lucrez cu filie de peste 6 ani...se vede ca au experienta...inca odata Bv...

  • at 2:15, when your applying the vinyl you are over lapping another piece of vinyl, do you just leave them overlapping and when you smooth it out do they blend in enough to where to wont see its 2 pieces?

  • That's really nice, good job .

  • just paint it

  • Pro workers

  • BRILLIANT

  • And that's how u kill an italian machina..

  • How to make a stunning Red Ferrari look like a cheezy corvette. The poor bastard who painted that car is now sucking on the barrel of a Beretta wondering which lever makes the boom noise.

  • @TheJimsock Missed the point, much? It's foil. It comes off as easy as it goes on.

  • what's the price of this?

  • @wachu57 Wraps cost anywhere between £200 and £2,000, depending on the type you choose. This wrap would cost around £1,800. For more details though contact Creative FX on info@fxuk.net or +44 (0) 208 313 1146

  • @RoninMarketing You forgot the black wheels :D!

  • @duncaann That's true! E25 did them after we'd finished filming!

  • @RoninMarketing so i dont drive a high end sport car can i still get my car done

  • @x2thezful Of course you can! Creative FX wrap all sorts of vehicles, from scooters, to lorries, to ferraris, to fiestas. Give them a call (+44 20 8313 1146) or drop them an email (info@fxuk.net) and let them know what sort of thing you want and I'm sure they'll help you out!

  • what for this ??

  • does this have any kind of bad effect or will it peal off while your going fast?

  • @afgsamay1 stays on forever, the vinyl is guaranteed to stay on for 8 years! i wanted to do this but it look like you need a whole team to do it right

  • @afgsamay1 It doesn't have a bad effect - as long as the paintwork is in good condition when the wrap is applied it will look exactly the same once the wrap is removed. And it doesn't peel off whilst going fast!

  • Car wrapping - Audi A6

    /watch?v=ea5cUQ1lVms

  • OMG- thats an amazing job!

  • But red looks better !!

  • THAT CAR IS SWEET

  • bit of patching needed at 1:16 ;)

    great job though guys!

  • Comment removed

  • How much does this cost? VERY well done!

  • wow what is this? new way to change color of the car?

  • @HaNdsoFBLoodCss this isnt new...

  • man even though the 458 italia is out the f430 spider still looks sexy

  • great!!!!!!! i'm brazilian signmaker... this guys aplication perfect !!!!!!!!

  • How much it cost?

  • I bet the texture feels like rubber, cool.

Lotus now has a paint with this texture, says it peels and touch up is not realistic, but it is paint.

BMW M3 Frozen Grey is nice Limited color

M3 Carbon Metallic was that purple-black shade

If warranty and low maintenance then I'm into it, tired of waxing my red 944t and fixing chips and buffing swirls gets old

Sliver Grey and Tit Silver BMW M3 always look clean in my garage.

  • Looks so easy to clean compare to gloss black.

should help with chips, forget touch up paint and bra, very practical .......I hope

    Cost ? $1000 ??

  • Ferrari's are best in RED, why why why ?

  • The Ferrari F430 looks fucking ugly in red. It just looks so pathetic.

  • How long will it last and is it all weather?

  • its nice but i wouldnt do this to my ferrari if i had one

  • its sweet but u just put a big sticker on it, u ruined a beautiful car

  • woah...i like this much more

  • Wow! That must take some skills, taking a razor next to a Ferrari's paint. I sure as hell wouldn't have that next to my F430. Fuck that noise.

  • why make a cool car L00K ugly by making it red

  • putting a razor to the paint... whoa...

  • Ecurie 25, itsnt that in London ?

  • isnt it easier to just remove all panels and then wrap them? i'm going to use that method on my car next year

  • Do you only apply heat to contour surfaces or to every surface? will appreciate the info.

  • @gabe21z They heat all areas.

  • @RoninMarketing Thanks for the info RoninMarketing I would love to do a project like this to my car. If you have any type of instructional videos that you may sell? Would like to own some or know of any kind of training that is offered.

  • @gabe21z heat everything....makes the glue stick better

  • We're hoping to create another video for Creative FX soon, but in the meantime you can check on their latest work on their website or Facebook page

  • @ImaYam This project took CFX less than 2 days, but obviously it depends on the size and type of vehicle (and the type of vinyl being applied). Unfortunately, they don't currently do matte black wheels.

  • @stephenstudios Most vinyl Creative FX use is 65-180 microns thick. This matt black vinyl is about 65 microns thick. I hope this answers your question, if not give Chris a call on 020 8313 1146 or drop him an email at info@fxuk.net

  • can you get a gold wrap?

  • Looks good, but that won't last in the Arizona sun.

  • @Scorpion85629 actually most 3m vinyls are heat and UV resistant and come with long warranties that protect against it.

  • Nice work!

What type of vinyl do you use on this car?

  • WOW GOOD WORK

  • damn, i want to get this done to the bed of my truck, get the famous logo like all over it

  • Nice work. Now, If the wheels were also black.......ugghhhh

  • It is very impressive but what about the knife lines you leave behind when you trim. surely these very sharp knives will go through the vinyl wrap and onto the paintwork?

  • Still looked RED to me lol : \

  • @fuckinwok u mean u love the red one so much u still picture da car to be red, lmfao

  • What was beautiful, it was ugly. ciau 430!

  • hey guys, awesome vid!

did you wipe the car down with windoline?

    reagrds

  • one beautiful f430 spider ruined...

  • @ResourcefulSkater - IT CAN ALL BE REMOVED WITHOUT DAMAGE TO THE CAR

  • That's pretty awesome. Protects the factory paint too. I would definitely do this.

  • Comment removed

  • If I worked at a place that made me wear a white shirt and slacks to apply decals, i'd quit.

  • xenon lamps <3

  • this pretty good, if you don't like the stealth anymore you can remove it. good job FX !

  • how much would this cost to get a 2009 tt coupe wrapped in matte black. aslo can it be removed after some time

  • @sukh126 Yes it can be removed whenever you've had enough of it. It costs between £1400 and £2000 for a full car wrap, but if you contact Creative FX on 020 8313 1146 or on sean@fxuk.net they'll be able to provide you with an accurate quote for your TT.

  • @RoninMarketing thanks.

  • @RoninMarketing are they just based in the uk?

  • @wintersnowboard Unfortunately, yes. At the moment anyway!

  • @sukh126 just paint the car

  • @GOW3Relase my cars on a 2year lease so i cant paint it. its better to get it wrapped so i can take the wrap off when the car goes back. and the n depending on what car is i can get that wrapped aswell

  • @sukh126 you can do it for your self veeeeery easy. Foil costs about 60Euros per sq. meter.

  • nice!!!

  • matte black ruins any car you put it on

  • do you also have this vinyl in carbon?

  • @Itech127

Yes, Creative FX have all sorts of finishes, including carbon. For more info give them a call on +44 (0) 208 313 1146

  • wow looks like they just shoved a black condom over a ferrari and called it "stealth"

  • I would of thought this was an idea for criminals to get expensive cars and steal them.........

  • I don't get it, all they did was just make it black.

  • Bravi ;-)

  • How much would it cost to get my car done in this matte black vinyl?

  • @LDMoss21 It's less cost and less work than a new paintjob. And you get to have matte surfaces.

  • hey if it preserves the gorgeous paint its cool but will it leave a residue once that stuff sets with time

  • can you do this on any type of car and how much does it cost

  • cool.

  • This type of wrap costs £1400 - £1600 + vat. Sean Davis Creative FX

  • Around £1400 - £1600 + vat. Sean Davis Creative FX

  • How much would this cost?

  • it's very cheap!

  • No it isnt, It's like 2-5k, same as paint really.

  • Around £1400 - £1800 + vat. Sean Davis Creative FX

  • @forehead007 That's very reasonable. Thanks a lot for replying:)

  • Very Innovative.

  • WoW......!!!! Batman's car!!! = )

  • ¿¿ € ??¿¿ $ ??

  • Having a razor blade that close to my dream car, my heart would be pounding.

  • @datazndood i was thinking the heat gun wud be worse :s

  • O right, I didn't even think about that. Such a cool idea tho, the whole matte look.

  • UAOOOO!...Good job!...

  • Good idea, but there is no way it will last. The second a rock hits anything its messed up..

  • why no audio?

  • @Koala59880 More like reversible solution. Do whatever crazy "paint" job you'd like for your car, keep the original paint intact and resale value up.

  • great, its like a paint protector lol like my iphone screen protector except this is a ferrari.

  • Lavoro preciso ma la Ferrari è e sarà sempre solo rossa..

  • nooooo stupid vinyl :(

  • Is this hard to keep clean? especially with rain?

  • The wrap is quite hard-wearing so would not be affected by the rain, and the car can be cleaned using normal car-cleaning products. Although steam cleaning is not recommended.

  • @RoninMarketing And i wonder why steam should never be used to clean a wrapped car? ^_^ A warning! We have had some clients that came back with a wrecked wrap, in 9/10 cases they have used a polish on the cars and we have had a hell with removing the vinyl!

So polish or anything with a grain in it is a big nono. Alchohol and/or water/dishsoap mix seems to work best with cleaning vinyl. And i see that you use Avery surface cleaner to prep the cars! Nice :P

  • @RoninMarketing And sorry, i might add that i also work with carwrapping! What material did you use for the matte? It seemed very flexable and even! We only work with 3M 180 series and love it. Small firm based in Gothenburg sweden. Great videopost! Always fun to see how others do and it's not that different from us. It's only the yanks who super space action do it. =) Keep it up! And post more videos!

  • @RoninMarketing just 1 things i wish to mention, if the car went on far that vinyl wud burn off the car and because its black vinyl it wud asorb alot of heat in the sun.

  • @RoninMarketing what is this cover, kind of teflon? actually i like it.

  • @RoninMarketing wud a carwash be ok and how bout in snoww

  • Just WOW!

  • cute
