I'm 18, and i started listening to Silverchair cause my girl loves every single album by them. Fuck, i knew songs likeMiss You Love and Emotion Sickness or Abuse Me and i loved them. But after i listened Diorama and Young Modern i fell in love with the band, and they're one of my favourite bands now, and always will be!

Sorry, but if you can't understand Silverchair's evolution you don't deserve to hear this. Although I Like very much the first 3 albums (Diorama was a disappointment for me..), i can see that they grew up and made a spectacular record.. It's they masterpiece. Waiting for the sixth :)

somewhat unique to see someone who enjoyed the first 3 albums, disliked diorama but again enjoyed young modern. personally, diorama has been my favourite (followed by neon ballroom), but i appreciate and enjoy all of the albums :)

seriously, this is not silverchair...the new stuffs sucks! Wheres the soul and angry of Frogstomp and freak show albums? The band really should over after the freakshow, now they only disappointing this old fan.... :(

lol. i normally don't approve comments such as this but i could not refuse this one. hmmm let's see... maybe they grew up? sorry dude, but people can't stay 14 forever. anyone who stays angry and bitter (teen angst if you will) for that long would need serious help. i've been a fan from the beginning yet i still manage to like almost everything this band puts out. i would suggest maybe broadening your musical perspective perhaps?

@darksade2000 get over it and move on. they're 30 yeras old now and not going to sound the same as when they're teenagers. it's great that their sound changes with every album, otherwise it'd be so boring!
