@reefatoka Do you even know what Retina Display is? AMOLED and Retina Display are in a whole different world. AMOLED focuses on real black, but crap white. Retina Display is a display with pixel density above 300 dpi. Retina Display on iPhone 4/4S and iPod Touch 4G is the highest dpi display, while Samsung's AMOLED is a display with the highest contrast ratio, but by far it produces crap white colour.

You missed out the easiest way to see how great the display is. Small text. On a webpage, zoom all the way out. On the 4, it's readable. On the 3GS, it's a line of illegible pixels.

The only reason the iPhone has an IPS display is because Steve can't find a company that will make AMOLED screens for him. IPS screens have nicer colors than twisted nematic LCD screens but still look washed out and bland compared to amoled screens. Steve always makes excuses.

In iPhone 4, I can even count the number of dots at the background of "Settings" icon, or the clock icon. I work at a electronics store i.e sells comps/games/movies etc and it also sells iphones 4, its not that good, retina display my ass, I play games like sonic and it and it looks ugly

the colour looks deeper, but if I increase the lighting on my 3gs it would look the same. All it is is better contrasting. Even the tech head at one of the stores I talked to said "i wouldn't buy it"
