This is an amazing performance of this song! My school is doing this musical in a couple weeks and I play Mr. McQueen and I was really excited to be a part of this song. I hope we can pull it off at least somewhat good to this! =)
You know, this was the first production of it I found on youtube, and when I saw all the comments saying "this is the best production EVAR!" I thought "bah, they probably say the same thing on all the other productions." So I looked around youtube at some of the other ones, and I was right about one thing: they DO say the same thing on all the others. However, this is DEFINITELY the best production on youtube. Good job!
ugh...im currently in a production of urinetown. i REALLY wish we were even half as good as this. Its not even the talent its the shitty choreography that we have.
I love every cast member in this version... except for Cladwell. While I will admit the fact that this guy did a great job, Cladwell is supposed to be either pure evil or natural showsman. This man portrays neither.
We're doing a female McQueen at my high school. We figured it'd be funny that all of Cladwell's men are women. My twin gets to be Cladwell. He says that he's a glorified pimp.
UGC staff was awesome! We just did this at Utah Valley University and loved every minute of it. It is so much fun to see eveeryone's different interpretations.
I'm currently Mr. McQueen in my production and I got to say this scene is so much fun to be apart of when you are that character. So props to the Mr. McQueen in this show. Great Job!
You know I actually like the songs from this version of the musical better than the original.

I like that everyone has a bit of green in the costumes. I don't know why. Everyone seems more connected that way.
