I grew up listening to all these gospel songs on the happy jubilee hour. We used to complain because we had to listen to this "boring" music. Now its such a blessing to hear them and I thank God I had parents who taught me about the Lord. It shaped me to the loving and caring person I am today. I do not regret a minute I spent listening to Vestal and the many others.
I saw them once in person. It was in Fowler Indiana, at the Fowler Christian Church back in about 1969. I loved every minute of it. I was just 21 then. Now I am going on 64 and still love them. They are with the Lord now. I am sure they are still singing praises to Him in person. What an experience that must be. Singing to Jesus in person in heaven. I sing to Him now and I will sing to Him then. In the great heavenly choir.
this song says it all......no comments in the world can say anything compaired to this song.....Thank U dear Lord for all u have given me...Glory be to God
Absolutely awesome...... then and now! I never got to hear them in person, in this lifetime, but watch out when I get to Heaven, to join them in praising God! Yes, thank you, Lord, for everything!..... most of all, for YouTube and all of those who post these lovely videos.
This is my favorite group of all time. I miss them terribly, but I know that they are singing together again in heaven! My mom and dad are probably enjoying them again...
thank you so much for posting this, takes me back to my childhood. ive seen them at our church when i was a kid. what a awesome song for thanksgiving day.
Vestal always sung with such emotion and passion so much so that you can feel the words...RIP Happy Goodmans. I hope to meet you one day singing with that Heavenly Host just over by the Eastern Gate. Hallelujah!!
Doesn't get much better than Sis. Vestal. When she sang, it was like she sang with fire. I saw the group in 1974 in Paris, TX as a 10 year old. Never have forgotten it.
Cory I always come to this channel when I just need to hear something uplifting and takes me back to what is truly in my heart.this morning is just one of those days.Thank you so very much for this channel and all the great music you have on here.Love ya
Vestal Goodman is my Hero!!! Always has been always will be. The Easter Brothers father was the man who wrote this song. Thank you so much for adding this video
I hate to ask when was this filmed and what show did it air on ?Truly a classic I love the Goodmans they were and still are most love singers. The Easter Brothers do a killer version of this song.
The Goodmans gave to the world and are still giving to the world what it needs the most: That is Hope. The Goodmans give the world hope.
