Honestly, nothing. Just you play hero characters versus villain type characters. But, the game play is really the same. Just different maps, environment, but same game play.

Player vs. player is still there, and you can still do good vs. evil missions in the new expansion, but you have the option of fighting for the opposite team if you want. so villians can become heroes and vice versa.
last I checked (which was before my computer crashed in Febuary) there were TONS of people playing City Of Heroes/Villains and I doubt that it's changed in only 3 months (it crashed at the end of Feb.)

i downloaded the trial, still play it, but the thing that is hard and i still cant find out how to do is fly. i upgraded my skills to Hover, and i couldnt hover or anything, other than that, its easy and fun. Oh and the Ritki Invasions r really fun, and i died almost everytime i was fighting them. But Ritki attacks turn out to be HUGE battles between many players and many Ritkis that have tons of xp. You will like it

there is no single free player, once you buy the game you have 14 days free. or you can buy a game time card for 30$ and you have 2 months of game time. or you can use a credit card and pay 15$ a month or can play for a year for like 116$ which idk bout you but its easier to just either buy a card when your account is close to ending, or just pay 15$ a month..

im not sure that there is a trailer but i have a 70 druid on WoW and a 50 on cov and cov is ALOT funner than WoW and if your a big time mmorpg player than this is definately the game for you. There are 2 games city of heroes or city of villains. City of heroes has more players but city of villains is funner. BUT you can still pvp, like if ur a villain u can pvp with heroes just like WoW you should definately get this game=] *50 mastermind ninja*
oh and also unlike WoW, there are 4 travel forms u can choose...u can get all if u want... the 4 travel forms are: Flying,Teleporting,Lightning Speed, and Super jump.

I really like this game, Its very fun but soo much different from MMOs. Its good if you get tired of conventional MMOs cause you dont have to use a sword or bow(you can though-and I do) and you dont wear armor really, just a costume that you can always change so you dont get bored of what you look like. Anyways now im just rambling. I suggest everyone plays the trial tho cause it just isnt for some people.

I've recently quit WoW and gone back to CoV and I can't get enough. It's a refreshing experience from any other mmo.
CoV has become dramatically more popular lately, and it's never hard to find a group or an active super group.
As for the price? £8.99 is basically a standard MMO monthly fee, and it's hardly going to break the bank is it. Plus, the enjoyment you get from playing this game is worth every penny.

New costume at 20 actually, and a mission that gives you a cape to add. Aswell as if you NEED 2 costumes pre-20, you can splash out 200k for 4 special salvage pieces which grant another slot :P
I have got full epics, PvP and PvE by raiding, i have made alts on all classes at least to 40, WoW is for the hardcore, or was but now they messed it up by making it casual and loosing gear progression, so am gunna play this to stop the endless grind that it WoW
Well for all you junkies out there, the game ends at 70 for WoW. When you get to 70, you have the choice to quit and have a life or raid all day and get "epic gear."
Cov/Coh is better than WoW, it is better then AOC/Warhammer as well.
Hell it's even better then SWG before it was ruined.
The fact you actually get to a make a character uniquely your own and the customization of powers/enhancements and many other things is what MMOs are meant to be about.
But simply CoV is just fun to play, and to me never feels tedious at any point unlike my experience of WoW which I had 4 lvl 70s on and had reached rank 12 in 5v5 arena on BG9(then sold it all).
I admit that WOW gets repetitive and boring quickly. The whole game is basicly a grind. This is why I quit. But you can't say that COV is better then AOC and Warhammer because they haven't even come out yet. How do you know that you won't like AOC better then COV?
i like CoV over CoH the only toon i like in CoH is Blaster, the reason i like CoV better is b/c ima Brute lover and i dont like tanks b/c damage is kinda bad. and Scrappers are ok, i just hate having to wait on a critical for nice dmg. with brute u have good dmg all the time and ure fury goes up rather fast

I LOVE THIS GAME! the missions are pretty good its just a faster way of getting exp with a team. the powers and customization are definetly the perks in this game the customization is awesome not once have i seen a player with a outfit even kinda close to mine.
They have REALLY nice customization features. The only customization that I find better than this is Perfect World's. If you watch their customization, it is CRAZY!
ummm better graphics are u blind, wow is awful, not just in graphics but in gameplay, i switched to this as soon as i was wasting 8 hours every couple of nights to farm hyjal or BT sure its fun for a while but it needs new content faster

Erm, It doesn't say anywhere "Please play this game, it's actually good" does it.
I've recently quit WoW and gone back to CoV and I can't get enough. It's a refreshing experience from any other mmo.
CoV has become dramatically more popular lately, and it's never hard to find a group or an active super group.
As for the price? £8.99 is basically a standard MMO monthly fee, and it's hardly going to break the bank is it. Plus, the enjoyment you get from playing this game is worth every penny.

Bwuhahaha! I just quit WoW too cept i left for CoH not CoV...its quite easier to level in CoH nowadays because everyone is looking for teams almost 24/7 and every1 is nice :)

Cool, its fun, but takes a while to level, and you only get one costume untill like lvl 40 or sumthing like that.

New costume at 20 actually, and a mission that gives you a cape to add. Aswell as if you NEED 2 costumes pre-20, you can splash out 200k for 4 special salvage pieces which grant another slot :P

I have got full epics, PvP and PvE by raiding, i have made alts on all classes at least to 40, WoW is for the hardcore, or was but now they messed it up by making it casual and loosing gear progression, so am gunna play this to stop the endless grind that it WoW

Well for all you junkies out there, the game ends at 70 for WoW. When you get to 70, you have the choice to quit and have a life or raid all day and get "epic gear."

Cov/Coh is better than WoW, it is better then AOC/Warhammer as well.
Hell it's even better then SWG before it was ruined.
The fact you actually get to a make a character uniquely your own and the customization of powers/enhancements and many other things is what MMOs are meant to be about.
But simply CoV is just fun to play, and to me never feels tedious at any point unlike my experience of WoW which I had 4 lvl 70s on and had reached rank 12 in 5v5 arena on BG9(then sold it all).

I admit that WOW gets repetitive and boring quickly. The whole game is basicly a grind. This is why I quit. But you can't say that COV is better then AOC and Warhammer because they haven't even come out yet. How do you know that you won't like AOC better then COV?

i like CoV over CoH the only toon i like in CoH is Blaster, the reason i like CoV better is b/c ima Brute lover and i dont like tanks b/c damage is kinda bad. and Scrappers are ok, i just hate having to wait on a critical for nice dmg. with brute u have good dmg all the time and ure fury goes up rather fast

I played WOW on a private server (wowfusion) And even then it was boring... I got 2 level 70, got my T7, Did all Hyjal quests (custom) and I was still hella bored... I need 2 get this game

I really disagree with you, WoW is fun.. for the first 10 seconds. Then it becomes a total grindfest. Also, the game is really uninspired. The concept has been done thousands of times. And geez, GRAPHICS DO NOT MAKE A GAME. Sure, CoV/CoH is a total grindfest too, but it was a new concept in the world of MMORPGs in the fact that it was not set at a medieval pace. /endwalloftext

In my opinion, WoW is like runescape but with better graphics. People play it because they are obsessed with it. I played runescape for a bit and i knew it was shit but carried on playing because i was obsessed. Games are not only about graphics, it is also about gameplay and what you can do in it. This is, incase you didn't notice, a video about City of Villains so why are you posting about WoW? People have made videos about WoW so go and piss some of them off and tell them how much you love it

I LOVE THIS GAME! the missions are pretty good its just a faster way of getting exp with a team. the powers and customization are definetly the perks in this game the customization is awesome not once have i seen a player with a outfit even kinda close to mine.
