Not a bad song. I always like it. In fact I prefer this live version is much better than the studio version. It should have done better. Perhaps, it got lost among other entries as it was the second song performed that night. Also, I find the performance a bit wacky. An average looking guy in red sunglasses and red pant....Not so sure about that..

This is the better version i think. the 7 inch was more of a slowed down version that plodded along. at least in this version he sings it with no shame!

Jahn is a REALLY nice guy.. and he is one of the most loved and popular artists in Norway. Everybody loves him (even the young ones).hehe..Almost all his songs is in Norwegian (so you may not understand the lyrics) but try to search "Friendly" or "Adieu" (which is from Eurovision song contest) He has a really good voice and he has been. Actually he said no to do a trial sing for the band Genesis (cause they asked him. They were after a new vocalist after Peter Gabriel quit! ;)

Check out the cool movements at 1.45 and especially 3.18 (the gesture to the choir). Great stage personality. Maybe this was just too good for Grand Prix? It soared over everyone's heads perhaps. A fabolous song, even better here, performed live. One of the best performances through all times at this trashfest. 0 points and dead last in 1978. Why, oh why...
