Drummers in the hardcore scene dont have to do much these days. Sturgis actually blends real tracks with fake tracks when he records. And if something doesn't sound good or a drummer cant do it, fake it... It's that simple. Im not banging drummers because they do have to do it live but this is probably pretty close to the actual track.

Pretty cool, theres something that does'nt sound quite right at the transitions around 1:41, and after the fill at 1:48. Otherwise it sounds well programmed.

@stntmn7964 actually this sounds exactly like sturgis' kit but you dont have the drums set to humanize. Its not cyclying through different samples for each drum. its playing the same cycle over and over. Kit sounds great! but thats what that "annoying" cymbal sound is. The same sample being played. So maybe look for the switch for it in the program you are using? i use superior drummer and it has the humanize button at the bottom

@yipyurples actually i did none of this. the drums were recorded on a real drum set with the exception of some samples from producer joey sturgis. no midi's from guitar pro were used to make this. the only daw's i used were drumagog, fl studio, mixcraft, wavelab, and cubase. and the only vst effects were reverb, compressor, delay, and a limiter. the dance part and the dub-step part i made myself, i just layered the actual song over my mix and canceled out the vocals.
