As a musiciam and an x bands man I think Curtis is excellant. Yes ok he is using tracks but unlike some so called keyboard players, Curtis can play and is a very talented singer and musician.

Well said that man! Anyway, they all more or less use some kind of tracks now don't they otherwise most of these Irish singers couldn't do what they do, it wouldn't pay to bring a whole band round to all these smaller gigs now.

I didn't think Big Tom had died, glad to hear that was wrong.

I still prefer Curtis's version but each to their own. You are right though, this is the studio recording and not actually live, all Curtis's videos are unfortunately, I don't know why the record company wont put out some real live ones, I have heard him properly live and he sounds better I think and he does actually play the keyboard and it is turned on!
