I have a suggestion, perhaps you could continue recording video of your lessons and post them on youtube on a private channel that every semester your current students can access...Just a thought.
@TheGreenPlague don't feel guilty! Your excellent comments are the reason I put these videos on YouTube. I have been given some excellent ideas (yours included) for my class. The hateful messages I receive are also good...I just delete them and "block user" from being able to post on my videos in the future! Thanks again!
...He should have been a pediatrist, because any good teacher knows that writing down what you're hearing helps memorization. Simply listening doesn't cut the mustard.
@TheGreenPlague you're exactly right...I forgot to mention that I provided every student with a copy of my speech after the presentation. Students sometimes get so caught up in trying to write down everything you say, they don't listen to (or process) what your message is. Thanks for commenting!
