  • Great review Justin. I'm using this for the Blog Engage Giveaway and it's working out well. Do you know how to add an email opt-in as won of the entries?

  • @MsIleaneSpeaks You create a custom option and then tell them to sign up with the sidebar signup form or with a link that opens a sign up page in a new window. You can't put javascript into the Rafflecopter entry, so you can't put a sign up form inside the widget itself.

  • Cool. If the blog comment / like / tweet detection works perfectly then I'll definitely use this next time I have a raffle!

  • @theTechnoclast It does work perfectly, and many other bloggers are using Rafflecopter, I have seen some contests that collect hundreds of thousands of entries.

  • @dragonblogger Hmm, follow up question: What if you set up a contest with a parameter to like your page, but the contestant already likes your page? I'd like to make sure that all current "likes" to my page will then be considered.

    Is that possible?

  • @theTechnoclast @theTechnoclast There is nothing to prevent the user from clicking +1 I did this if they were already a follower or fan. This is because if you made like your page Mandatory they would have no way to enter the contest if there were already a previous fan. This punishes those who already were following you by excluding them from the entries. In this case I allow previous followers to claim the entry because they came in as loyal followers.

  • @dragonblogger Did you mean you let them claim their entry by manually inputting them as entries or can the system include them in the contest automatically? Thanks again for the input!

  • @theTechnoclast The system will claim them as entries, since all they have to do is click "I Did This" and enter their username. So it will count as an entry, there is no way to manually weed them out easily since you can't find fanpage followers based on follow history easily. That being said, they may not click "I Did This" if they were already followers, it is up to the reader I suppose.

  • @dragonblogger Ah that's great. I think that does it for my questions then. Thanks very much sir!

  • @theTechnoclast Anytime, happy to help. If you want to see it in action big time visit my blog right now and look at the Kindle Fire Giveaway, I have over 1600+ entries.

  • Hey Justin great review, I arrange at least one contest every month and it's really hard to track all guanine entries. This will be very helpful, do you have invites remaining?

  • @suraj0034 You don't need an invite, will message you details. I can send you direct access.

  • @dragonblogger just registered, thanks for the quick reply! :)
