I like Dennis too. However I've heard some say they think he's just a tool of the Democratic party to steal votes from 3rd party candidates such as Nader (to whom Dennis is nearly identical in his stand on the issues). If that's true, my guess is that the two "main" parties are in collusion against any potential challenge from Independents. They are partners, bought and paid for by the war-profiteering corporations who are really running the show...?

The media ignored him and made fun of him for being the most reasoned politician running for office. I agree with you that it was a great speech, but I disagree with your statement that "he didn't have this fire a year ago..." He has always had the "fire" and the committment to this country. He was one of the first congressmen to speak out against the Iraq War. Keep it up, Dennis. You are the true role model for political change.
