In another golf fix he advocates a drill in which you swing back 1/2 way and the proceed to cock the wrist until the grip points to the ground. So...Do we cock the wrist or not? I am confused...
@LongBall2Go Got to have wrist hinge and wrist cock, this is what allows your hands to get in front of the ball at the point of impact, and will help reduce the scoop. No wrist hinge will cause you to scoop the ball
I like the pushing with the thumb at the top of the swing only, makes a clean vector to ball. Thumbs primarily produce the forward tumble of the club head to the ball feels like a video game thumb togel for golf. The whole swing foundation is wraped up in the thumbs. I'm conceous of centripital rise as a primary swing function. G force alligns mass perpendicurlar to its axis connection point. I never actively lift, only let G force lift the swing, mastery 101 (Ryon Lind Lakeland FL).
That whole 'there is no such thing as centrifugal force' is a massive science myth. It is taught to students studying circular motion as it is useful for them in understanding how centripetal force is a component of an orbiting body. There's loads about this on the net and in decent physics books.
@zephod42 My father was an Astrophysicist who worked for NASA, so I think i'll trust a rocket scientists knowledge over your premise of a "science myth".
@secretogolf It is nothing more than word verbiage used by undereducated "wannabes". I just thought I would put my 2 cents in about the video. Every instructor has their own golf swing philosophies, but their is a difference when it comes physics/facts, and what instructors are told to teach by repeating verbatim what they have been taught. People need-not believe everything they hear; do your own research, then assess the issue.
@camondrums i never said it wasn't real...i know centripetal force is real, however centrifugal force is a faulty force that many golf instructor base their premise off of, and fail to have the knowledge it takes to understand fully.
to paper over the cracks of a slice swing try turning the left wrist as soon as u take the club away on the backswing

@B73woods So what would you or your dad reccomend? As it pertains to the golfswing or is it just misuse of a word?

centrifugal force is a "false" force....it doesn't exist; so pieces of this are illegitimate

@B73woods its a explination of a feeling. Also centriPital acceleration is real.

my wrist hinge was what fixed my slicing. weird...

But also wrist hinge affects height. Less hinge equals lower shots, and vice versa. Good tip though. I hinge way too much, for overswings!

Right wrist bend will fix without the crazy notion of no left wrist hinge...taking out a very powerful lever when you preach no hinge.
