the bottom line is this guys getting owned cos the devs didnt give him a decent machine gun

the problem i can see with this game is its going to get realy frustrating trying to fight the zombies with c..p weapons and getting khocked down all the time cos i have a stupid electric wooden spoon instead of what i should have an m249 saw

they saw how popular cod was due to the fact we all love our guns in games why not give us a choice from day one like a firearms dealer aka farcry 2..

@halflifemaster678 I think that the firearms in the game will be rationed for events, like blowing up that propane tank. So where would the firearms be if you were at a Beach Resort? Probably on the police that drive around on ATVs, Wave Runners & the cache would be at the little resort police facility. There will probable be sparce firearms to find on dead tourists & in the Hotel rooms. Maybe on a boat with dead villians, who were plaining to jack tourists.

@sweetooth1967 Although they do have guns in this game and they are rare. In certain places they advertise the game showing XP and melee combat. Showing the game as another FPS would just turn people down and make it look stupid. It would be criticized as looking like far cry 2 or left 4 dead.

I suppose they made firearms rare because, well, they ARE rare in real life. I don’t know which holiday resort islands you’ve been to but I doubt that there are a lot of guns available on them. As one of the developers stated in an interview, this game is supposed to have a serious, more or less realistic story and not some nonsensical LOL party like the one in L4D.

@sweetooth1967 ok so im just going to find a barret sitting around on an island resort. ya makes a whole lot of sense that im going to be finding milltary grade guns in a hotel or maby on some random person.

Some people just don't get the concept of efficient play -> Using quick kicks to stun enemies and create space/finishers. Videos with lots of kicking show them clearing entire hordes very quickly.
