  • it sounds more like a 350 CI small block engine straight piped with headers. the low notes make it sound like its at idle, the higher notes make it sound as if hes at the daytona 500

  • God!!! i love how those low notes sound on that guitar, i cant get the tone to go that low on my guitar, or shred on the strings and have an awesome shred effect

  • makes me want to vomit

  • The pedal sounds like shit on this vid. Im sorry but this does not do the land mine any justice. WAYYYYYYYY to much high end, you cant even pick out what he's playing. it's just a mess,

  • Chunk... kunk... kunk... doluludolu... squeeewewewe doluludolu... squeeewewewe...

    nice btw

  • If you turn the mid up on that it can actually sound good. Too bad everyone is falling victim to the idiotic "scooped-mid" hoax.

Boosted mid is where your warm juicy tone is.

  • dude that sounded awesomne, so all the fucker can shuv it, im gonna get me 1 of thoose pedals. what tuning were you in man?

  • dude i am getting that for a more mass metallica tone this shit looks sick i am sick of my half stack marshall same tone i want this!!!!

  • Have you tried Metal Zone MT-2 ? Which one do u think is better ? I like the look of Landmine though :D LOOKS SO COOL !!!

  • No comparison, Landmine is analog and Metal Zone is solid state. Plus all Boss products suck. Go with the landmine, the amount of sounds you get out of it are astounding and they all sound really sick. I have one and its the second best guitar investment I've made.

  • Uh, analog IS solid state. Y'know?

  • No. There is a huge difference dude.

  • LOL

  • some analog stuff is solid state, yes. Anything that doesn't use a digital path is analog. As far as guitar goes, analog just means a pure signal that doesn't have any intelligence modulated into it. For instance a digital effects pedal takes your original sound, processes it, and then spits out a completely different signal. An analog effects pedal uses the original signal and modulates that. Kinda hard to explain on a comment box =) I suggest looking into radio equipment

  • not to get all geeky on a distortion pedal video or anything >.>

  • I don't mind getting geeky!

Isn't that what all this is about anyway?

Better than some kids posting useless comments like "this is cool" or "I like this"! (Who cares what you like, kid!)

But I would like to clear this up once and for all...

  • "Solid state" means anything that doesn't use mechanical (moving) parts. So all "analog" (devices with circuit boards) is "solid state". However, (digital) computer chips don't use moving parts either, and are "solid state" as well. So, in conclusion, all "analog" is "solid state", but not all "solid state" is "analog". Look it up if you don't believe me!

  • Wrong actually, the explanation is very simple, any digital system whether its pedals or televisions use on/off electronic pulses i.e. 1s and zeros. 1-0, on and off as a means of operation.

Analogue systems of all kinds, use degrees or variations of change of the signal, think of analogue like a volume control knob which can sweep throughout an entire spectrum, and digital like an on/off switch on the wall which has only 2 possible conditions 1 or 0.

  • I don't think you know what the definition of "solid state" is.

  • Heh. Sounds like it will give you a pretty good Dimebag type tone.
