Wot a load of rubbish. When will the industry adapt its business model?? Quit changing lobbing governments, harrasing people with fines and spreading propoganda??... Take a look at the uk's digital economy bill, suing file-sharers, misleading authorities with bogus piracy reports & STATS. RIAA & MPAA are using those same staTs, convincing us 2 transform the Internet into there copyright police state.
I can hardly stand going to the movies anymore without them telling me I am a PIRATE!! At least that is what MPAA blames their crappy movies loses on. Has nothing to do with the movie being crap, oh no!! I did a comedy comment on MPAA and what has happened to our theaters. Search hashmark13 for Movie Experience and tell me if you agree.
Making a copy is fundamentally different from stealing.
The media industry has failed to offer viable legal alternatives and they will fail to convince consumers that sharing equals stealing. Unfortunately, they have succeeded in another area -- lobbying to adapt laws to criminalize sharing, turning consumers into criminals. They argue that their laws are necessary to [support artists], but in reality all they're protecting is their own profits.
To all viewers: the MPAA is not the moral arbiter of your lives. Inform yourself of the issues and make your own decisions. "Pirating" a movie file is different from stealing a car: if I copy your file, you still have the file, whereas if I steal your car, you no longer can use the car. Therefore, copying music/movies/information is not stealing (in most cases).

I love how incredibly suave and debonair the thieves they show are. :P

Well I download movies, but i dont buy pirated films. Downloading is more acceptable i think... than giving money to "thieves" for pirated movies.
