WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!! Oh my Gosh you gotta be kidding me!! I'm so gobsmacked right now! OH MY GOSH! Loool Nigerians will never change, see them tryna hustle the girl! Lol this is awesome! My man on the bike try marry her right away!!! Naija men! They'll never change!!!
lol at 1:25 The cab driver SEUN: "Mo mo pe akata ni e, ma toju e..." = "I know you are an Afro american" I will take care of you ..." LMAO. Did he think Titilayo is mixed or half nigerian? ...lol.. Seun the driver must be blind to call Titilayo an Akata.
Well done Titi. I am a Yoruba, yet I cannot speak it as much as u. Have you ever thought to come and teach yoruba here. The young generation are losing part of their culture ie. there is no emphasis on learining the language. please keep on uplaoding more and more videos during your visits. We look forward to viewing them!
Titi, ur awsome, really impressed and amazed how u speak yoruba language so well. I really don't 'do you tube', I just had to sign up so I can comment on ur Videos. U even adopted a yoruba name, that's sooooo cool. U'll probably make lots of Nigerians value their culture some more. Great! Great! job girl, keep it up.
Dayummmmmnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is tha Bomb! Titi dey price onions??? Ekpo pupa!!! We should give Titi Yoruba tribal mark! Olorun n gbo! Luv it! :)
This seriously made me laugh, I'm a Nigerian American teen but I can barely understand Yoruba and speaking it is a whole 'nother story! They are so amazed and intrigued by how well you can speak Yoruba, its kind of amusing. Oh and by the way my name is Layo also. I would also like to know what ori e foka sibe means, because its in a song and the man in the video told this to you. :)
@QuietBarbie LOLS I have the same story.. I can speak small yoruba and I now have to understand Akure. I hate it when my mom compares me to her though because its not fair that she get 9-months to study traditional yoruba and I have to understand it on my own (and I moved to america when I was a baby come on!) OH! and I don't even know how to read or write in yoruba can you imagine. And I think ori e foka sibe means that your head will shater or something like that IDk!
@joyjumper22 thank goodness there is someone on my boat i came when i was 4 and can speak better then some people who still live in nigeria while knowing french spanish and korea but my mom always say why can't you speak like titi isn't one of your middle names titi smh
@joyjumper22 THANK YOU! my mom says the same! I CAME HERE NOT KNOWING TO WALK!
That is not fair, she gets a good 9 months to learn while I have to play a guessing game with my parents all the time ugh! And I can some yoruba but I just choose not to cause I can't say some thing properly. It's annoying when she compares me to her its like Oh God here she goes... but I wish I can explain to her my disadvantage but I know I would receive a dirty slap! LOLS
I noticed that Lagosians don't speak good yoruba again, they all talk in slangs and mix yoruba with english. Titilayo put them to shame, she's well spoken and her yoruba grammar is flawless. What is ori e foka sibe ?That's coloquial yoruba that have no meaning in yoruba grammar. Ori can never foka...lol.. another slang... lol,
@AspiringBlackLawyer I'm sorry but that was really ignorant of you. Beautiful children is the only reason why you want to go to London? I am also assuming you want a white woman.

YOu really tried Titi and your just too funny.lol. Don't mind the lady at the market, she's just pulling your leg, but you handled her really well. So proud of you and your yoruba. Well done.
