Sorry to disappoint you .. Actually ' Kanneera Dhare ' is inspired by this gazal. Hosabelaku was released in 1982 and this gazal is from the album Come Alive released in 1979.

The tune has been "inspired" by a Kannada movie "Hosa Belaku" the song is Kaneera Dhare..

I listened to dis song wen i was in school in 1992 and since den i am in love wid ghazals and Jagjeet Singh. Its so gud. purely soulful music

absolutely music cant get better than this. music lovers would be unfortunate if they never get to listen this song. though iam great mehdi hassan and gulam ali fan and dont like jagjit at all, but this song from jagjit is on top of every gazal from any singer ever. i cry when i listen to this song no matter how happy /disconsolated i may be.
