dudes. u guys nailed it when it came to romanticizing what it would be like to just uproot yourself and move across the world to see and experience something new and exciting. i may be watching this in my computer at home yet i feel like im right there experiencing the magic that is south korea. one day . . . one day . . .
You guys make ridiculously awesome videos!!! Are you in Seoul?? Very inspiring! I'll definitely be coming to Asia to teach Esl in summer, thanks for sharing!!!
@nastya9208 hey nastay, im the guy that drinks the coffee in the beginning, it really only rains during... i think, june july august,.. but don't quote me on that.. xD other than that, just prepare for snow if your gonna be here from about dec - march.
@ylfriends the video of us in the supermarket was just a snack run ;) we eat most of our meals in a cafeteria in the village and its (almost) always good real food xD
#112 Are you too a couple? The guy in the redish shirt and black pants has a nice build. From what I could see either youve been working on your chest or the shirt was quite tight or both.
paju? oh my fucking god.!!!!! i was stationed their, us army combat engineers in bong il chun. it shut don when we left to iraq, but gosh i miss that little dinky town.
wow i'm so jealous right now hahahaha!! Hey I wanted to know how you're doing there and how is ppl's manners with foreigners??!! It's just that I'm planning on doing and internship in korea but I've heard some bad things like they're racist, blah blah and more of awful things about them!! what you can tell me about that??? and of course can you tell me how much does it cost?? I mean how much money you should have to live properly there??xD hahahaha
aw this is great guys :) i want to go to korea but everyone always assumes im korean and I look like a dumbass when they figure Im not lol oh well. I will go one day
@Xkusjee I'd like to go to Korea as well. I'm 17, and have been researching a lot of teaching programs. Most will pay for your trip to Korea if you've gone through 4 years of college and have a degree in something, and it doesn't have to be teaching. I may end up going next year for my senior year of high school, if I'm lucky. It's much easier to go through some sort of a program though, where financial help will be available.
I see a lot of drivers going through deep puddles. I am the exact opposite, I never do that. I am guessing you see a lot of new, and interesting technology, things that are not available in the U.S.
so you had to learn Korean before hand right? or did you just go and learn as you went. I also want to visit south Korea but the communication challenge seems overwhelming
Ohhhh Im so jealous. Ive been wanting to go for years, but no one to go with, and being a 21 year old girl, I dont want to travel alone. Looks like you guys have had so much fun!
@ShenaniBanani I know how you feel. Well sort of. I've been wanting to go for a long time too, i'm 17. But no one really wants to go. Maybe in college i'll join a program or something
@supc00ki3 That happened in China, but it's not an indicator of all Chinese people no more than it would be in an indicator of all Koreans if it happened in Korea.
@Kpop4Addict noodles are a huge part of the diet in asian countries just like rice. they use it in most meals like americans use some form of potatoes.
@lilgiggler35 Yes I know haha I'm just saying It because It's cool.. In New Zealand we only have like one shelf for noodles.. Kinda depressing really xD
@photogrowl I was going to credential right after graduating, but I loved the idea of being able to travel and teach, so I made a change. Originally I was going to Japan, but things fell through once the tsunami hit. I heard about a great program in Paju, so I started researching all about Korea and loved it all, so here I am!
@sushibre How do you teach English in korea? Do you have to know how to speak korean? I was considering teach abroad, but wasn't sure if I needed to know the language first.
@punky298705 No you do NOT need to know how to speak any language OTHER than english. Although you will want to know basic phrases. I recommend the Pimsleur 60 day lesson program. 60, 30-minute 100% audio lessons.
@sushibreto thats awesome!!! i wanna live in korea too T.T its soo vibrant especially in seoul xD but i want to visit other places in korea that people dont really know about.. i heard its much more peaceful and beautiful. i just wanna ride my bike in their countryside. how nice would that be.
I actually was in Korea this July and left just after the flooding started, but that's much crazier than I remember...great video, so many familiar things!
