Salaams. I don't know if this is relevant anymore but you don't need to say it in front of anyone but Allah. It's better to say it in a masjid or around others so you have support but it's not a requirement.

He doesn't. God guides those who are sincere to islam. People are stepping stones in the process. Prophets are the callers to God. Humans can't see God b/c our eyes can not withstand the magnificance of Him, but in the hereafter we will be able to see Him that is why not only this, but is is a test for people-will they follow or not. if circumcision does not cause you harm, you can have it performed by a surgeon who's experience and skill you trust. If it would cause you harm, then you don't have to do it and that will not adversely affect your Islam, InShaa'a Allah (Allah Willing)
