  • Wow

    Inspiring!!!

  • That thank you at the end is so class

  • i like the freqbox the best!

  • cool sounds an vid efects , check mine out if you find time

  • of cheese and fish.....

  • This was ill!

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i hear this kinda stuff in my head sometimes

that excerpt occuring somewhere around the "agreement" is funny as hell

  • i have the moog little phatty i want thoe pedals and the cp-251 control processor strait up sound design heavan

  • Great!!! The last quarter sounds like the old german school - very expressive, very strange and absolute great art. Thanks!

  • most excellent music.

  • strange music!

  • yeah! Lets dance mientras pongo la mesa

  • wow! these are great sounds! :)

  • "i wish modern music was like this...."

Im Happy Modern music is NOT like This ! its ok to experiment, but i feel nothing when i hear to..bla bla tones...

  • cool stuff...so all the sound other than the drums is from the moogs? and the sleep drone provides a drone?

where is the step filtering coming from?

  • i think its coming from the access virus... i think... Lolz fish.

  • thanks man.

  • and fish

  • Wow, really fucking inspiring, celestial bizarre-ness- sounds like dense storms of fragmenting negative energies emitting hologramatic cnidocytes through infra-red veils... The person below me has the right idea....WHY isn't THIS the sound of modern music...

  • i wish modern music was like this.long time ago people think futuristic music would like this full of synths and drum machines but what can we hear today?the same rubbish type of music like gangsta rap and punk rock and a little bit of electronica that use the same type of synths

  • @gtaaddict94 you probably dig wrong way.

  • why don't cats like shaving? Coz 9 out of 10 cats prefer whiskas

  • NICE STUFF MAN !!!!!!!!

  • I want a Moog synthesiser now, this sounds so damn awesome.

  • beautifully done. congratulations

  • i see a gr-700 guitar synthesizer in the back. nice! :)

  • Nice composition.

  • amazing. i love it.

  • My cat slowly saunters out of the room as well. Why is it synth heads seem to have cats. My cousin opined it was because we were all witches. :)

  • My wife and I never had animals until one of our neighbor's four cats kept coming over to visit. He eventually decided to move in and they were cool with it. Shortly afterward his buddy came over as well. So now we have two cats but they are amazing animals. They like hanging out around the equipment because it is warm and they are fascinated sometimes with all the knob twiddling. One evening we were eating dinner and I heard this cool racket coming from my studio. Cat on a Kaoss Pad!

  • hhaha oh shit. that is funny. Cats sometimes move in, its odd. There is a video somewhere on youtube of a cat twiddling an eventide knob making crazy sounds. They seem to like pianos as well.

  • Why are always cats attracted to synths? That question should be researched.

  • @Analogger HAHA :D That is so cool! I love cats and now I need to buy an Kaoss Pad :)

  • @Analogger Cat on a Kaoss Pad! ..now available on itunes? :-)

  • both - the sleepdrone is feeding a "drone" into the pedals and the freqbox has an oscillator itself which can produce a sound on its own.

  • It`s ok...but i prefer without the acidhouse rthm please

  • this is what I call a FUCK YEAH!!!!

but please don't do the video FX :)

  • the cat so funny.

  • This really could be in a video game like Condemned, F.E.A.R., Dead Space, or even Half Life.

  • Excellent work.

    Keep it up!

  • R these good for Jazz? If they are are they good for Guitar?

  • yea.. if you're candyflipping or just on either one.. lol

  • The Moog yes. The Sleepdrone 5 (green thing) has no inputs- an output for each oscillator and a 5th sum. Check out kingcapitalpunishment's Glamourbox which is back! That has an input and will make a beautiful mess of your guitar!

  • Just ordered my Sleepdrone today yea!

  • seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... ME ENCANTARIA TIRAR LAS PAREDES ABAJO CON ESOS MOOGERSSS

  • really diggin this stuff- i've been thinking about getting a sleepdrone for a while, and this is probably the best application i've seen of it yet.

reminds me of flux information sciences : D

  • Kitteh!

  • WORD!

  • Thanks.

  • is this guitar?? please reply!!!!

  • None of the instruments you see in the video are guitar. they are pedals used to create sound or effect it in one way or another. The full explaination of everything used is in the info section on the upper right!

  • This is so much like Nine Inch Nails. You should make a CD of this stuff. Excellent.

  • @Analogger

wow ok! i have never seen guitars look like that!

  • PS; Bob and Keith would be proud!

  • Dam guy ... yer over the top!

  • this is amazing man

are you Trent Reznors secret twin? lol

  • very good, me like.

  • YESSSSSSSSS

  • i friggin love this tune man

  • Holy shit, I lost it when that lady started talking.

  • i like cheese and fish..

  • I love the Moogerfooger units, and this is some awesome stuff! I'd love to get a few but I don't have the money; besides my priorities are on a few other things that I'd like to buy.

    Great stuff.

  • Good stuff Analogger and you've inspired me to get a moogerfooger rig going. I got the first one the Freqbox yesterday and made a track with it. I dont have a video camera but I posted it here on youtube if you want to check it out.

  • Very nice. I like the sound. Do you like your Sleepdrone I was thinking of purchasing one myself.

  • Yes, I like it a lot - but there are times when I'm totally bored with it. I put it away and then bring it back out when I get the urge. I've thought of selling it - then I always decide I would buy another one - so I keep it.

  • I just had an analogue spastic

  • But... is it art?

    YOU BET YOUR ASS!

  • lol

  • yep.. art is what ever the artist says it is....

  • art is what ever the listener says it is

  • what did you use for those video effects? I'd really love to know.

  • I used Sony Vegas Studio.

  • Trent? Is that you?

  • awesome industrial sound. this would make trent reznor blush.

  • Industrial? Uhhhh.....

  • Uhhhhh.... what? Finish, you lazy prick.

  • he thinks industrial music was started in 1997 by static X is the rest of his sentence

  • Ha, that's a gas.

  • haha i love this, the cat that walked under just made it that little bit more special (Y)

  • Love your sounds and video's! keep it comming!

  • NIN jemand?

  • totally sounds nin-esque

  • Truly awesome video, some mesmorising sounds there.

  • wow, spectacular!

  • this has amazing tone, incredible sounds!!

  • What's doing all the sequencing? Is that randomness in the filters a SnH?

  • I used an old Roland MC-50 to sequence the drums on one channel and notes on another channel which the midi-to-cv converter turned into control voltages. That's what was modulating the pedals in sync with the drum pattern.

  • Ah cool. I thought maybe the sleepdrone had a sample n hold CV out or something. Thanks! BTW, your moogerfooger fight made me obsess over the freqbox and got one after I saw this video for the first time. Keep the videos coming! They're inspiring and fun to watch/listen.

  • this vid inspired me to track down a sleepdrone... fuck yes. awesome stuff man. hope i can have half your setup one day. for now its just a couple moogerfoogers and a SD on the way. im thinking of picking up an alesis andromeda 6 soon as i win the lottery though :P

  • yes! I wanna a buy this album. Are you coming out with one? This is definitely movie music here. Submit that shit man. I kept picturing Neo kicking some agent ass to this. Very nice! WOW...okay sorry, i'm done.

  • Got some old Guitar Synths there...are you by chance using that 300 to do the bulk of the initial sound source?

Keep it up bro. But I'd lay off the video effects.

  • The main audio source is coming from the box called a Sleepdrone. Its just four oscillators that can modulate each other. I do have another video featuring the GR-300 and a midi-to-cv converter modulating the cutoff frequency. BTW - I accidentally removed your comment on the HOG video. I love King Crimson. Fripp is truly the texture master.

  • Love the Phase sound in it. It has a Polymoog sound to it. I have a Moog Little Phatty, a Roland SH-201 and a Korg i4S workstation. I have a video of my band Break The Silenc doing a cover of smells Like Teen Spirit. (on youtube) Love the video and keep up the good work.

  • Deeply entrancing last 2 minutes

  • best part I think

  • that is a good tribute to mr moog

  • Very nice :)

  • Beautiful my friend. The reason I need to get the Freqbox and Ring Modulator

  • this vid made my balls tingle

  • CHEESE AND FISH

in response to people asking "how does this all work"

read a book on synthesis. the freq box is just the oscilator section of a moog. he ran an audio source into the CV input to get a simple FM sound. OSC1 modulating OSC2. the ring mod is based on a mathematical formula. add the two sources and subtract the two sources the difrence becomes the output. the phaser is just delay set so short it actually cancells out parts of the waveform.

roland drums = NIN - closer.

  • Really awesome tune mate, love it

  • Really impressive! I bought my Moogerfooger RingMod (for guitar use) just a while ago, still in learning process. I'm glad I came accross this great video :-)

  • man that sounds cool where do you but those

  • WHAT A TRACK!! 5 Stars!

I think I can now take over the world.....

  • that was cool

  • Dude this Fuckin rocks!!! I just bought the frqbox but i havent received it yet!!! maybe you copuld give me some tricks or advice on how to use it well

  • you bet - let me know when it arrives!

  • frikin sweet

  • Yeah, quite nice - but there's some serious coin spent here - about, what?, $3000 (or more!) for the setup. A bit too steep - I wonder if with the right amount of sweat & time if you could achieve something similar with a $200 midi-controller. Yeah, the analogue sound, I know. But, come on now, that's a good deal of coin for the nifty appartus on display.

  • Yeah, but this keeps me outta bars and away from school grounds.

  • Silly me, of course! The social-educational aspect of it all! Forget my inane comment - Way to go!

  • It's all process. Fuck the quick, fast, and convenient midi shit.

  • Totally agree, but where I come from, a new reverb moogerfooger alone will cost over US$1000 - if, that is, you're lucking to find one. Aside from some haphazard circuit bent circuits, the closest thing I could get to the above was a used MFB synth - the rest, up to the machine and korg.

  • I creamed my pants :)

  • It almost has a polymoog sound. love this video! I have a moog little phatty stage, a Roland SH-201,and a Korg i4S workstation. I did play with a band called Break the Silence Teaser. (on youtube)

  • Great setup & sound! The beats near the beginning do remind me of NIN a bit.

Fish! Fish! Fish! Fish! *Yecch* but that was funny. The things people say...

  • good video,

nice collection of moogs you got there

  • arnd 2:30 u got a NIN thing going on

  • arnd 0.00 he got a NIN thing going on

  • ....word

  • impressive

  • Excellent, any more footage of this crazed bint?

  • haha coooooooool man! Freak box!

  • ...AND CHEESE AND FISH!

  • Best Moogerfooger video ever, especially the droning stuff at the end.

  • I really appreciate this video. I think Bob would have love to see his small babys played like this.

That's the music I like. You should make a CD if this is not done yet !

    theau

  • Where'd you buy these?

    AND CHEESE AND FISH! xD

  • nice cat.

  • this is the dark side of the moon! lol

  • You are the Larry Flynt of gear porn dude!!! From editing, to sound, to music, to explaining... great vids.

  • WOW, that was nice!!

  • great work!! cheese & fish...:):)

  • How much does a thing to make similar sounds cost? It's my chemical brothers' beloved sound!

  • The key is to get a good ring modulator. I used the Moogerfooger Ring Mod for this demonstration along with the new Moogerfooger Freqbox. You can run any synth wave or guitar sound into the Freqbox and get some interesting results when its then put thru the Ring Modulator. The sound I ended up with was by accident - and since there are no presets it would be impossible to ever get it exactly the same way again. I love that! Check out the Moog site for more info

  • Thanks for the answer, I have no idea what these instruments are, but I'll save your indications for the future, I feel like plugging my guitar into one of these boxes and check the result...!

  • That is the best thing you can do. Plug into something, anything, and create your own sound!

  • kick ash!

  • Beautiful! I love it.

  • Btw that "crazy woman" looks like she was really enjoying telling you about that stuff...

  • Don't forget that you can drive the many CV inputs of the Freqbox from the CV outputs of the other Moogerfoogers... not just sequenced from your MIDI-to-CV! Nice stuff; keep exploring the possibilities...

  • Excellent! Keep them coming !

  • That's gotta be one of the BEST SYNTH DEMOS EVER! ***GREAT*** SOUNDS, nice visual fx, droll text, & droll vid sample/mashup. BRAVO!
