I don't understand this conflict. How a rebel group got tanks and anti-aircraft, and all these heavy weopons? I am not from Srilanka, but ever since I born they have been fighting this conflict.

They got all the military equipments while having the Peace process as the government believed that the LTTE is in the peace process as well. The LTTE cheated government at all the times the gov had the peace talks. So this time the gov didnt listen to them till the last inch of land.. its all over now... Can you feel the happiness of Sri lanakans..(Including tamils..)

ICRC, HRW and AI must be weeping after seeing this footage. There are signs of an intense battle, but no civilian bodies to quench their thurst for blaming and insulting GoSL and SLA. I saw on the BBC one of the NGO now (2200 UK time)blaming GoSL about continuously underestimating the number of human shield victims escaping!!!!!!! He said because of there is a serious problem of overcrowding, sanitation etc. etc. Are these guys taking with the hole located between their legs?

who is that tamill guy walking with a servant in front of him dragging his luggage. I mean the young lookingman with a moustache and red jersy and carrying rucksack like thing on his back. He looks too well fed and have been currying favours from terrorist leadership. Strange that ina battlefield, he is walking like a lord with a servant. Something fishy about that guy and he should be interrogated. May be he is Fat pigs treasurer. Over to you Army Intelligence.
