Oh Snap! I was listening to internet radio at work about 7 years ago, heard this & loved it! Had never heard of Shuggie Otis. Too bad he never had major success ( I think) back in th day, cuz he had good looks and a great sound............................His dad is legendary musician Johnny Otis, who discovered Etta James. Johnny Otis died 3 days before Etta.
Everytime I mention Shuggie to anyone here in the ATL area they just kinda look at me like I've lost my mind. Maybe they're right, but they should still know who Shuggie is!!! :-)

@pcrazy2 I don't think he really wanted it. That's one thing I admire about Otis, he was all about the music and not the "scene".
