Hacking a PSP is very simple, and so is downloading illegal games, so why would a person pay 50 bucks a game when he can try them all out for free with no hard effort? Great games are out for the PSP system, like Monster Hunter, Kingdom Hearts, God of War, Dragonball Z, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo and so on. So hacking the PSP doesn't prevent anything. Plus, the new CFW's nowadays offer tons and tons of fun customization to it.

You can't change the mac address of a psp unless you get a different NIC(Network Interface Card). Your mac address is like your fingerprint, and you can't change it, it shows you that you did but you can't change it.

I tried it on 5.00m33-6, it worked fine. I think that you do not have the 1.50 kernel enabled in configurations. Or go look up LEDA on youtube and download that. It is a homebrew that enables 1.5 and 1.0 on 5.00 m33-x
