just use the machines hard disk to save games! Thats how it does it automatically

the 40gb (the version i have) doesn't play ps2 games.

I couldnt try it if i had another version either because all of my ps2 games are fakes (they don't sell originals in Malaysia)

nah 720p is more than the ps3 needs. ps3's highest is 1024i and you have around 1240i with 720p.

i think the p stans for progressive and the i is interlaed. not exactly sure on the meanings, but its to do with how many lines of pixels there are and how they are arranged (progressive is better)also i heard 720p is better than 1080i when watching moving images.

1020p can only be achieved through a HDMI cable. The PS3 does not come with a HDMI cable as you have to buy that seperatly.

360 Elite does however (odd since Microsoft is money hungry).

yer p is progressive scan and i is interlaced , interlaced is more lines and therefore gives finer detail but progressive gives you a smoother image :)

p is when the whole image changes every frame i is when every 2 only 1 pixel change its a bit confusing but you cant really see the diffrence between p and i
