Josh, I think you're going to make it. You're starting young and have the right attitude. 20 something years ago when I was in high school I couldn't even think of doing this sort of thing. I ended up going the opposite way and tried to be as manly as possible by joining the military and doing other things that were in contrast to the way I really felt inside. I screwed up my life and wasted a lot of years. Fortunately you don't have to. Just make the best of it and be who you really are.
I think you look great as you are , never feel like you have to conform to a gender binary.with an androgynous image you can you can present as male or female as and when you choose. p.s great hair, its grown so much in 1 year, dont cut it short again! Im growing mine out from a buzz cut, its now 4" all over, right now 17" seems like an eternity!
